In the northern Black Forest, about 50 km south of Stuttgart, I welcome you to the Bee Wagon. The nearest train station is about 2 km away in Wildberg, the town known for its Schäferlauf festival. From the Bee Wagon’s terrace, you can enjoy the view or have a barbecue by the campfire. At night, you’ll experience the cosy atmosphere inside the wagon, warmed by the warm air from the beehives, since five bee colonies are staying with you in the wagon. The bees have no access to your living area; only the air from the beehives flows into the interior of the wagon. Experience the relaxing effect of the fragrant hive air from the bee colony. The climatic health resort of Wildberg offers excellent dining options and shopping opportunities. Its location along a bike path and hiking trails invites you to go on excursions. A visit to Calw and Nagold is well worth your while. The bee wagon site is located next to a campground. The outdoor pool, as well as the campground’s other facilities and car parks, are available for your use.
Bee wagon (approx. 8 square metres) on the Nagold River with 2–3 single beds and bedding. The wagon has a power outlet and a picnic basket with dishes, a kettle, ground coffee, and tea. A water connection is nearby. A private terrace is available. The bathrooms are approximately 100 m away. Breakfast and treatments at the spa can be booked in addition. Outdoor pool (July and August) included.
