"Linn" Wing – Romantic Living in the Heart of Oldsum

The romantic holiday rental (wing) "Linn" is idyllically situated in Oldsum, at the beginning of a quiet side street and right on the edge of the marsh. Surrounded by typical Frisian countryside, you’ll enjoy peace, open spaces, and a genuine island atmosphere here.

This approximately 93 m² oasis of comfort spans two floors and accommodates up to 6 people plus a baby. The section of the house was recently extensively renovated and modernised and impresses with its high-quality furnishings, bright rooms, and a harmonious, friendly colour scheme.

The open living area, with its cosy seating nook and wood-burning stove, is perfect for relaxing evenings—especially on cooler days. Entertainment is provided by Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a stereo system. Right next to it is the modern built-in kitchen, which has everything you could want: dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, convection oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and a full set of kitchen appliances, including a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, and everything you need for cooking and baking.

The spacious dining area offers room for shared meals or fun game nights. From here, you can step out onto the sheltered southeast-facing terrace, which is furnished with stylish patio furniture—ideal for breakfast in the morning sun or relaxing outdoors.

The apartment features two modern bathrooms with showers and toilets (one on the ground floor and one on the upper floor) as well as three lovingly furnished bedrooms:
Two bedrooms have double beds, and the third has a single bed and a pull-out guest bed. This provides six full-size sleeping spots as well as space for a baby cot.

Additional amenities include a hair dryer, a laundry rack, cleaning supplies, a high chair, and a cot if needed. A private parking space is located right next to the house. If you’re arriving by train, we also offer a free shuttle from the ferry to your holiday rental.

Oldsum is one of the most traditional villages on Föhr and is characterised by thatched-roof Frisian houses, small studios, and galleries. A historical stroll through the village is well worth it, as is a visit to the popular cafés “Im Apfelgarten” and “Stelly’s Hüüs.” A supermarket is within walking distance. The beaches, such as those in Utersum, are easily accessible by bike.
