I am so glad we chose to stay here! We absolutely loved the direct beach access and the pool area! Also, we had the best view of the ocean from our balcony as well! I definitely recommend sitting on the balcony in the mornings with a cup of coffee while watching the waves roll in, that was the absolute best way to start the day! We definitely made a lot of memories there and can't wait to come back! 10/10!!! We would totally stay here again in the future!

Crystal Tower = Terrific
The view from this place is amazing! Ever room from probably the 10th floor up has 180 degree views of the Gulf from the balcony and 180 views of the inter coastal waterway from the elevator side (outside the door to get in to each unit). The main pool area is awesome, but shaded most of the day, so during cool weeks, the pool is pretty cold and unusable...but the indoor pool is super clean and nice!
We had a blast! Staff was very nice as well!
We viewed the pictures and decided to book the room although we usually stay at beach front properties but we’re on a tighter budget this year. This room provided the view and our usual experience with much less than we usually pay. The location is convenient to all of the typical visit spots and the additional pools are a huge plus. My only complaint were the floors were not swept prior to our arrival. This in no way reflected on the property, our stay or the owner!!!

As a prior reviewer noted the floor is very dirty. If you wear socks or bare feet the bottom of your feet get black. The furniture in the living room is very uncomfortable. We even tried putting pillows on them and it was still not comfortable. After staying for nearly a month we left early because we couldn't handle sitting on the furniture any longer. The TV/Dresser combo in the master bedroom was in very bad shape. The top drawer was hard to pull out and the bottom drawer would fall out when pulled out. The master room bed was very mushy and uncomfortable. It's apparent the owner has not put any updates or money into this unit in years. I would not recommend this unit especially for a lengthy stay.

Clean and convenient for a family of 4 with grandma
Unit was nice and clean. Everything was provided to start. I think we only needed to buy extra laundry detergent because we wanted to wash our towels daily. We were on the 13th floor 13th floor with a clear view of the ocean even though we were across the street. The 2 pools were very good. Enjoyed the smaller one because our 7 year old could safely touch the bottom and it was less used than the larger one with the lazy river. The walk across the bridge to the larger pool and beach was indeed air conditioned. Very nice. If I had to think of any negatives it would likely be the wait for the elevator. It gets hot and humid here. There are 3 elevators but sometimes its a bit slow to catch one. Not a big deal and that's all I could think of. Overall everything was to our liking and I'm somewhat of a picky person. Nevermind that my mom came along and is very critical of how clean things are. She had no complaints. :-)

Not The Worst
The view is gorgeous but this property is not on the water just a FYI. There’s “private beach access” but the chairs that are out there are not for you and when you do get set up in this “private” area it’s incredibly congested.
There are three pools which are all fairly nice but people tend to be poor parents and don’t stop their kids from playing in hot tubs and tossing around balls in the main pool that shouldn’t be in there. There was a security lady who was more interested in cracking jokes with some drunk guy in the pool. The smaller pool off the first floor is a lot more tame and cleaner. Indoor pool has a few benches but basically no seating. Now on to the condo… first it didn’t feel clean, my 7 year old said “it smells like dog.” The floors were greasy and it just didn’t feel clean at all-mind you there was a full day between the last guests and us. If you plan on cooking I would bring your own utensils. Knives dull and rusty, dirty plates, all the pans have scratched up teflon which is dangerous. Not a single clock, digital on microwave and stove was inaccurate, the one on the wall looks like it stopped ticking at 5pm for god only knows how long. The decor is very basic early 2000s which is whatever. Beds are subpar and the master bathroom looks like something you’d find in a motel 6. Rusty and scratched up toilet, some make shift toilet roll holder, ratchet baseboards. Overall I wouldn’t spend more than $150 a night for this place. Not worth the headache!
This was our 4th or 5th stay at Crystal Tower. I love that the pool is between buildings & gets shade in the morning & afternoon. It’s a big pool. The “lazy river” leaves much to be desired & probably shouldn’t be called that but as long as you see the pictures & know it’s not actually a lazy river, you shouldn’t be disappointed.
We received an email the week before our stay about one of the smaller pools being closed for repairs. However, when we arrived at the big pool the first day with our wagon loaded down with all of our stuff & 2 kids, we discovered the elevator from the skywalk to the pool was closed. I really wish this had been communicated. It was far more of an inconvenience than one of the small pools being closed. Imagine loading your wagon with beach chairs, a cooler, towels, etc. only to discover you have to take the stairs. A mom with littles & a wagon would probably not be able to take the kids to the pool by herself because there’s no way to carry/drag a wagon & assist small children down a flight of stairs safely. We have a disabled child so that meant one person carrying a 50+ lb kid & one person carrying a full wagon. Not exactly relaxing or vacation-like. The only other option we were given was to call for someone to open the street level gate (which remains locked) to let us in/out & to cross the busy street with small children.
The only other problem we encountered was our AC broke. It took 6 calls, a couple threats and 24 hours for Vacasa to fix it.
