We made many memories and our newborn little girl really enjoyed us rocking her on the deck.

The communication was so easy with the owner. The house was so cute and perfect for our family. The view was nice and it wasn’t much of a walk to the ocean access. We had a great stay!

Fantastic location, perfect for our little family

We stayed here for a few days after Memorial Day before the crowds arrived. The beach is a short walk away (close enough for bathroom breaks for the little kids!) and the porch was perfect for an evening of reading and relaxing at night. The Beach House was clean and provided everything we needed for a great getaway. We will be back!

Perfect Beach Cottage!

This is a great little house for a get away to my favorite Beach. My husband and I have stayed here twice and it has all you need . The photos represent everything exactly as it is! Perfect location and we will definitely rent again Don and Theresa Cunningham Sept 2019!! Theresa

Great Trip

This house was perfect for our family of 4. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking in. The front balcony was great for morning coffee, and the downstairs parking pad was perfect for grilling. The walk to the beach was so easy. Descriptions and pictures displayed online were very accurate, too. We brought our own grill and coffee maker, but they do have a small charcoal grill, k-cup coffee maker, and a full size coffee maker if needed. We would definitely rent this house again!

Loved The Beach House

We loved The Beach House. It was perfect for our family of 4. My daughters shared one bedroom and my husband and I had the other. The size was perfect for our week together. There is a TV in each room so the kids could watch what they wanted separate from the adults. House is clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfy as are the couches for relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped. We cooked most of our meals in the house. The front porch is nice for sitting in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Second row from the beach allowed us to have a glimpse of the ocean from the front porch. The house is also easy walking distance to the beach access. The beach on Ocean Isle is beautiful! Very clean and the sand is white and soft. Lot of shells for collecting during your walks. The location is also easy drive to shops and the Causeway. We hope to return again some day. We loved it and would highly recommend The Beach House.

Great location - small but adequate house

The location was great though you have to do about a block east or west to get to a beach access. Short drive to center of OIB. The house is as described online the only negative is that it is much older than even the pictures may do justice. Everything was functional; check-in was a breeze; and would stay again.

Wonderful beach home!

We stayed at The Beach House for our week long family vacation. My husband and I traveled with our 2 1/2 year old daughter. The host responded to messages quickly and she was extremely helpful with answering all of my questions. Lovely little home and just a short walk to the beach. Would love to stay again!!

Wonderful Vacation

We had a wonderful time, this beach house made it happen! The house was clean, the furniture is comfortable, the layout was great. We were able to cook, watch TV, do crafts at the table. It was awesome. And then the short walk to the beach was a game changer, it was so easy to come and go to the beach it made the trip so much more enjoyable. Plus the shower and toilet downstairs was great to run back and go potty of shower off the sand before going inside. The backyard and paved area underneath were great for playing chalk and throwing balls and running around. Would recommend this place to anyone! Thanks to the hosts for a wonderful place to make memories.

Perfect for getaway

Ours was a quick trip. Very comfortable furnishings and close to beach. W/D nice to have. Only downside was not enough plates/utensils. Definitely rent again tho.

Ocean Isle Storm Debby

Althought, the weather was terrible for 5 days of the week we stayed, Noelle made sure we were OK and gave us emergency info during the Tropical Storm, even said she would give a refund if we decided to go home because of the weather. The house has everything needed for the ideal beach vacation - location, outdoor shower, mud room to clean up kids after beach, cozy living area and kitchen and plenty of room to sleep and a nice backyard. Would book again for sure!

A Couple's Getaway

This accommodation was exactly what me and my spouse needed for a little getaway. It was perfect for just the two of us, but would also be a perfect place for a two couples or friend's group of four that just wants to beach it. We will absolutely be in touch for future vacations!

Just A Great Little Cottage

It was a splurge for just the two of us, but worth it. Bright, clean, simple check-in, quick responses from the property manager, and a short walk to the nearest public beach access. We cooked most meals and enjoyed the kitchen. The weather was sometimes rainy and windy and we loved it. We were often the only people on the beach. Lovely long weekend.

Perfect beach house

My wife and I have stayed at this property numerous times. We love the easy access to the beach and the convenience of having beach chairs and a wagon so we dont habe to pack our own. The owner is wonderful and quick to respond if there were concerns.

Paul and Edwina relocated from Massachusetts to Ocean Isle Beach in 2006. Leaving behind harsh winters, the Beach was a welcomed change after many years in the cold. For the first few years in Ocean Isle Beach we enjoyed the beautiful beaches, warm weather and amazing sunrises and sunsets. As a local Realtor, Edwina took the advice she provides to many clients and purchased an investment property on the Island - what is now known as "The Beach House" in 2013. We look forward to sharing our home with you and your family.

Why they chose this property

After enjoying Ocean Isle Beach for years and spending a year searching for the perfect properly, we came upon 143 East First Street. We wanted to be able to share Ocean Isle Beach with other families and offer a affordable solution for vacations other than a hotel or condo. When we first walked in we knew it was what we would soon call our second home - from the beautiful tongue and groove walls and ceiling to the adorable front porch - this was just like your Grandma's home growing up. With a little TLC, "The Beach House" as it is know lovingly known is the perfect spot to call home while on vacation. Not too big and not too small it's a great place to create memories
