A newly built home (built in 2020) for two people, offering plenty of comfort and extras.
In the living room, an open fireplace (with a simulated fire created by the latest lighting technology and water vapour) creates a cosy atmosphere. The two fold-out armchairs are perfect for long evenings of reading. The TV offers a wide selection of international channels. A modern heat pump provides extra warmth in the winter and pleasant coolness in the summer.
The large window wall in the living room offers a wonderful view of nature.
The bathroom, which features a walk-in shower, is heated by underfloor heating and also includes a washing machine.
In the very well-equipped kitchen, you’ll find everything your heart desires. From a dishwasher to baking utensils to a microwave, everything is provided.
The large, south-facing terrace features an outdoor grill, seating, and a sturdy umbrella. Just around the corner, open to the sky yet sheltered from the outside world, a heated hot tub invites you to relax.
The house is located 150 metres from a natural lake. Guests are welcome to use the dock at the “Nerbjärken” holiday home. The rowing boat is exclusively for guests of the “Nerbjärken” holiday home. Fishing in the lake is not permitted!
Shopping, petrol stations, and ATMs are located 9 km away. The narrow-gauge railway also stops here, taking you through the countryside to the sea at Västervik.
You also have the option of riding a bicycle trolley past lakes and forests to Målilla. Along the route, a small rest area is perfect for a barbecue.
A trip to Vimmerby is highly recommended. There you’ll find Astrid Lindgren’s World, which is worth seeing not just for the little ones.
In and around Vimmerby, you can relive many of the author’s stories. For example, you can visit Emil at Katthult Farm in Lönneberga
Near Målilla, there’s a moose park where you can get a close-up look at these lovable creatures.
Countless hiking trails invite you to explore the wonderful natural surroundings.
Other destinations include the nature reserves around Kvilleken, the oldest oak tree, near Vimmerby. And the Kleva Cave, where you can't only explore countless underground passages but also try your hand at panning for gold.
Not far away is also the island of Öland near Kalmar, home to the royal family’s summer residence; the archipelago; and the Kingdom of Glass in Kosta Boda.
Or you can simply enjoy the vastness of Swedish nature and let your mind wander...
