This approximately 74-square-meter holiday rental is located in Frankenau, North Hesse, in a holiday park right next to the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. The apartment is located on the top floor of a holiday home with a total of two units. If booked simultaneously with the “Mimo” holiday apartment, the entire house can be used, for example, for larger family or group holidays. Separate entrances ensure privacy for each unit. The house is located in the holiday village of Frankenau on the highest part of the hillside, offering a magnificent panoramic view of the valley and the national park town of Frankenau. The hiking trails through the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park begin right behind the house. All guests looking to spend an active holiday with family or friends will find plenty to enjoy. You’ll find wonderful places to visit in the surrounding area. Lake Edersee, featuring one of the largest dams in Europe; the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park, with its magnificent hiking and biking trails; and the towns of Frankenberg, Bad Wildungen, and Korbach, with their beautiful half-timbered architecture, are just a few of the attractions in the Waldeck-Frankenberg region. Are you looking for a short getaway to slow down as an alternative to big-city life? You’ve come to the right place! On the attached balcony, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view surrounded by nature when the weather is nice. There’s no through traffic in the holiday village of Frankenau. The holiday home and its attached living unit are located at the very top of the Sternberg. As a self-catering guest in your holiday apartment, you can order a bedding, towel, and dishcloth package in advance when you book (rental fee applies). This way, you’ll save on luggage and your holiday can start right away. Firewood can also be ordered on-site if needed. The Mimo & Lix holiday home was extensively modernised in 2020/2021 after it was taken over. We hope to welcome you here someday and wish you a wonderful holiday in advance.

The apartment features 2 bedrooms with a total of 4 sleeping accommodation (1 double bed and 2 single beds). The naturally lit bathroom features a modernised shower. There is also a separate guest bathroom. The open-concept living/dining area seats 7 at the dining table and features a cosy seating area with 2 separate armchairs. This makes it perfect for relaxing by the fireplace.

On the balcony, you’ll find a table with 4 armchairs. This allows you to enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the balcony or savour the evening sun with a glass of wine.

Access to the apartment is via an outdoor staircase behind the house. Not suitable for wheelchair users.
