This on-site Rockwood Mini-Lite travel trailer is located just 20 minutes away from the Chiricahua Mountains in southeast Arizona/southeast New Mexico. Enjoy sweeping mountain views, hiking, birding, and dark sky star-gazing.

Guests also enjoy free laundry facilities, a DVD and book library, a game room with a pool table and board games, and a labyrinth. The property is also an equestrian center, with accommodations available for horses, mules, and donkeys. Mule-drawn wagon rides are available seasonally and by request.

Mary and Jeri are the best hosts! So thoughtful, kind, and welcoming. The RV is very comfortable, clean, and charmingly decorated. The mattress and sheets on the bed are so comfortable that I asked the brand! The Mountain Views at sunrise and sunset are breathtakingly beautiful. I came for birding and hiking in the Portal, AZ area. It was an easy drive over to Cave Creek Canyon. Remember that this is a remote area with gas 25 miles away and the largest grocery store is an hour away at Douglas, AZ, but don’t let that stop you from coming to one of the most beautiful areas of the desert southwest. Just plan accordingly.

Just need some help with getting there. Kinda "off the grid" roads. Once found is easy, though. Terrific location, location. location.

There are some people you meet who leave an impression, and then there are people who become a small but unforgettable part of your story. Mary is one of those people.We came here to elope, and what could have easily been an overwhelming process became one of the most beautiful and meaningful experiences we could have hoped for. Mary went so far above and beyond for us. She is an ordained officiant and personally officiated our elopement, which made our ceremony feel incredibly intimate, personal, and special. She also helped me find a photographer when I was struggling to find one, taking away so much of the stress I was feeling while trying to coordinate everything.Planning an elopement comes with so many little details and uncertainties, but Mary never made us feel like we were on our own. She genuinely cared about making our day beautiful, and we felt that in every interaction. Her kindness and generosity meant more to us than she probably realizes.And the area itself is absolutely perfect for weddings and elopements. It is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly romantic, providing the most gorgeous backdrop for such a meaningful day. We truly couldn't have imagined a more perfect setting for our wedding.We will always remember this place, but even more than that, we will always remember Mary and the kindness she showed us during one of the most important moments of our lives. She didn't simply host us—she helped make our wedding happen.

We traveled and lived the nomadic life for 4 years until we settled in Rodeo, New Mexico (we're originally from Michigan). We love the unique environment of the high desert at the base of the Chiricahua Mountains along with access to five different ecosystems in those mountains. Within half hour, we are able to hike in Cave Creek Canyon, also known as "the Yosemite of Arizona."

What makes this property unique

The views and the amenities are what make our property stand out. Very few places offer free laundry, a hot tub, a DVD and book library, an outdoor grill, AND an Equestrian Center.
