On the way to Ankershagen, you’ll already get a sense of the gently rolling landscape of the Mecklenburg Lake District. Once you arrive at the vacation home, you’ll find a private property offering sweeping views of the adjacent Müritz National Park, with its many lakes and forests crisscrossed by numerous hiking and biking trails. Enjoy the evening in the garden or on the terrace of the sauna house.<br>Numerous bike routes invite you to get active. A locked carport is available for your bikes.<br>Inside the house, you’ll find 3 comfortably furnished bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The house features a large kitchen-dining area and is equipped with everything you need for cooking or baking.<br>The living room has a wood-burning stove that creates a romantic atmosphere and keeps you warm on cool evenings. <br>Of course, there’s plenty to do culturally as well—whether at the Heinrich Schliemann Museum in town, the ruins of the old castle in Ankershagen, numerous burial mounds, the castle in Penzlin, or many other sights in the neighboring villages.
