Originally owned as a hunting cabin by members of the Hershey (chocolate) family, the cabin is nestled on the lush side of Lake Arrowhead, in Arrowhead Villas. When you arrive, you will find the Hershey Cabin to be a very inviting, quiet, immaculate, and comfortable mountain home. The cabin is situated about one mile south of Lake Arrowhead Village, at an elevation of 5,500 feet, with easy parking directly in front of the property. The classic craftsman style shingle home is situated on a quiet road and is surrounded by beautiful firs, pines, and cedars.

Our intent is to keep the cabin in top notch shape - Therefore it must be left in a neat and clean condition upon checkout. We charge extra for excessive cleanup.

Upon entering the cabin you will notice the excellent restoration job. In addition, the cabin has been professionally decorated by my wife, an interior designer, who is experienced in incorporating comfort and elegance into home decor. It is furnished with both modern furnishings and antiques, providing the creature comforts of modern day while maintaining the old-fashioned warmth of a traditional Lake Arrowhead cabin. For your enjoyment, we decorate for each season.

The Hershey Cabin has rustic knotty pine/redwood walls and ceiling, a beautifully hand-crafted quartz rock fireplace, a massive pine mantel, and porcelain slate tile floors with traditional wool rugs. In addition to central air conditioning & heating, it has dual pane windows and is fully insulated. Above the fireplace is a Samsung (2020) 4K, smart TV with the super easy to use Fire TV Cube. We provide Netflix, Amazon Prime, MAX, PBS Masterpiece, Acorn, BritBox, Hallmark, crackle, freevee, tubi, Pandoras etc. We have very high speed (1 Gig up & down) Frontier fiber-optic internet, with an Amazon eero Wi-Fi router mesh system. The living room is a perfect place for you to snuggle up by the fire with each other, and either read or watch a movie.

The bathroom has porcelain slate tile, granite, and a frameless glass shower. The completely remodeled kitchen has gorgeous granite counter tops, new cupboards, and stainless-steel appliances. It is fully equipped with all the amenities of home.

The bedroom has knotty pine walls and ceiling, with a view from the windows that makes you feel as if you are nestled in a tree house. In the dressing area, you will note that there are two armoires and an antique, vanity make-up dresser. The queen bed has a high-quality memory foam mattress (rated medium firmness) along with beautiful, cozy bedding. Step out the bedroom door onto a wonderful wrap-around deck, with bistro tables and chairs where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a meal amongst the trees!

We provide an easy-to-use binder at the cabin, with our twelve favorite walks/short hikes in Lake Arrowhead and the surrounding areas. The binder provides maps, descriptions, mileage, estimated time, etc. For the more adventurous hikers, we provide books/maps describing hikes in the San Bernardino Forest. You can also fish and swim in nearby Lake Gregory or in Big Bear Lake.

The Lake Arrowhead area is a little hidden gem, with a quaint village, wonderful local restaurants, and various shopping opportunities. If you are looking for a romantic get-away, or just a place to relax and have fun, this is just the place. Lake Arrowhead celebrates all four seasons - warm summer days, fall colors, snow in the winter, and a beautiful spring.
