This 2500 sqft home is located 2 Miles on the mainland, (Across from Lowes foods) and Is a fun quick golf cart ride to the Beach.
Enjoy nature all around as you enjoy Coffee on the porch watching the deer graze and the squirrels play!!!
This home is full of tasteful decor and custom touches through out.
Sleeps 8 comfortably, Perfect for multi family's needing privacy,
Featuring dual master suites with walk in showers and both having their own living space.
Beautiful Custom stocked Kitchen with all modern amenities,
The home also provides a private office space, Fire pit area for those evening gatherings, Large driveway for lots of parking/trailers and plenty of shade for escaping the heat from your days activities.
The homes area is perfect for quiet strolls, a bike ride to the intercostal water way where you can relax and watch the boats go by under the shade of the Old Live Oak Tree's.
Gause Landing, is one of OIB's most picturesque streets, including the famous iconic George Washington Tree over 100Yrs old, Perfect for that family portrait back drop.

- 2 Queen - 1st floor shared hallway bath (tub and shower)
Master #2- King 2nd floor, walk in shower Bathroom, private living room, private office (contains the whole 2nd floor) No pets on upper level.
Paper towels, Toilet paper, Dishwasher pod, Dawn soap are provided by the owner but it is recommended that guests bring extra, the amount is just a starter


Pets:
-2 small bread dogs are allowed, No cats
-No pets on any furniture
-No pets allowed upstairs, Do not remove the pet gate at stairs
-Please be respectful and clean up after your pets.
- A cleanup fee will be charged if the grounds are not cleaned. -There is a $50 per pet per nite fee.



Island/Beach Parking:
FREE ISLAND PARKING for 1 vehicle, located at quiet Driftwood beach access and is 3/4 Mile to the West end!!!! (right at the roundabout)
1 min walk (3 houses) to a Handicap ramp beach access.
- $5 Per day Per extra Vehicle (Pass must be present in windshield to park)

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Keep dog off all furniture, NO DOGS UP STAIRS ON CARPET. DONOT remove baby gate at bottom of stairs, ensure dog doesn’t pee/poop in house. Clean yard
Empty dishwasher, put away dishes, Strip beds, gather your linens Turn off all lights, Lock all doors add the security bar to the siding back doors
Very important to have the trash out to Gause landing rd By Mail Box (Not at the drive way....) Wednesday evening, trash pick up is Thursday morning

Family of 5 stayed for 6 days and 5 nights. The home was clean and exactly what we needed! Kitchen was stocked with appliances and location was PERFECT! Close to shopping, food, and the host was responsive and easy to work with. Recommend and would return in a heart beat!

Property was very roomy and comfortable. Distance from the beach was nice as we didnt have to deal with late night noise. But the drive was less than 10 min to the beach and the parking pass was a HUGE plus. Just be prepared to bring everything you will need for kitchen, bath and beds. Owner was very responsive and everyone had a great time. Would definitely go back!

This was a wonderful experience in every way. Just a short jaunt to the beach. The easy access free parking pass made the jaunt seamless and convenient.The house is nestled in a quiet, shady neighborhood. All the bedrooms are cozy. The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you need. Plenty of shopping and restaurants just around the corner.

Great place and pet friendly (additional charge per pet per night). Kitchen great for gathering and bonus parking pass to beach. Excellent communication with owner and easy coded entry day of arrival. Do make note: no linens provided as mentioned in description. That includes kitchen dish towels, bath, hand towels and bed blankets (There is a bedspread provided in the closet for guest use). Again, stated in description - so plan to bring anything of that nature you may need. Great outdoor fire pit and the deer watching in the back yard was magical!

Lots of signs everywhere telling you what you can & cannot do , felt a bit unwelcoming .. & no bed sheets or towels provided so be prepared to pay extra for that. Felt like a staged home. Besides that it is a clean house and good location.

April, We are so sorry you feel this way about our home. It is clearly posted on VRBO that we are NOT linen ready, your booking was for 2 nights, you checked in on your first night at 3am and messaged me about linens, we offered to help you get linens, I messaged and tried calling you many times over your 2 night stay….with no response. All the beds had to be striped and sanitized, and one protector had to be replaced. For the signs they are just reminders, House rules are also listed with VRBO. Please do not make our home sound like it is a place that is not welcoming, we go above and beyond to make ours guests feel at home. Again we apologize you did not feel comfortable in our home.

Location was perfect for what we needed. Just minutes away from beach, right down the road from the grocery store, and only a few miles from the park where we had a baseball tournament. Host was very nice and communicated back within minutes. I’d highly recommend this properly.

My family decided to do a weekend beach trip and were very happy with the home that Heather & Kevin provided for us. It was only about a 5 minute drive from the beach, included a parking permit for easy parking access, and provided the space we needed for myself, my wife, my sister, and our 2 adult children. Heather was very clear both in the post and her reminders that we needed to supply our own linens, which wasn’t an issue for us. The provided photos give a very accurate view of what to expect from the home. The only minor item of note that I didn’t remember hearing called out before we arrived is that they do have the cookware and dining items needed if you’re cooking there, but there weren’t salt/pepper/common seasonings available so you’d need to bring or purchase that yourself. Aside from that the space, communication, and amenities available were nothing short of perfect. We’d happily recommend the home for folks wanting to enjoy a vacation near Ocean Isle!
