Father & Son Built Cabin • Escape Room + Laser Tag • Sleeps 15
This cabin was built by a father and son using reclaimed barnwood we milled ourselves. My wife designed the space, bringing warmth and intention to every room. We even turned the saw blade that cut the lumber into art on the wall, and carved 48 Calvary crosses by hand throughout the home and furniture. Find them all during your stay and receive 20% off your next booking.
Designed for groups and multi-generational families, the cabin offers three king suites with private baths, a bunk room that sleeps nine, a fully equipped kitchen, and over 2,000 square feet of decks. Inside you’ll find a game room with arcade games, poker, and shuffleboard, plus smart TVs throughout. When the weather turns, the onsite escape room adventure and laser tag keep everyone entertained. Outside there’s an 8-person hot tub, multiple fire pits, and an awesome kids’ play area.
We built this place as a family — not just to sleep in, but to create memories in. The wood, the details, the crosses… it all tells a story. Guests consistently tell us the home feels personal and thoughtfully made, with the privacy and space that hotels rarely offer. Located minutes from Hochatown, Beavers Bend State Park, and Broken Bow Lake. Pet-friendly for up to two dogs. Owner-managed with fast, personal responses.

The cabin is warm and inviting. A great place for family and fiends to gather and make memories. Couldn’t be happier with the experience! Our group was 4 couples. Loved the hot tub, swings, naps on the porch, laser tag, and other games. Escape room is a must. Kept our party entertained! Plenty of space to spread out and have privacy or come together in all parts of the cabin.

So glad you all enjoyed your stay with us at the Everhart! Thank you so much for your kind words!
We had a wonderful stay at Everhart Cabin in Broken Bow! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout — answering questions quickly and making our trip seamless. The spacious decks were our favorite, perfect for morning coffee, evening grilling, and relaxing in the built-in hot tub. The kids loved the playhouse, laser tag, and indoor board games. Clean, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable, and peacefully located. We’d book again in a heartbeat!
AMAZING!!! Do yourself a favor and book this beautiful home! The moment you walk in, you'll be amazed. My Grandkids had so much to keep them occupied. It’s big enough to escape for some quiet time rocking on the many rocking chairs on the porch. Everything was perfect, and our host Chris was incredible.I can't say enough good things about Chris. Very responsive And professional at the same time! Thank you The EVERHART home.. we will be back!!!
I recently stayed at the Everhart Cabin in Hochatown and it quickly became one of my favorite trips so far. I’ve been on several cabin getaways with friends and family, and this one stands out as exceptional. I traveled with a group of 12 and the cabin was the perfect balance of comfort, style, and fun for everyone. The cabin itself is beautiful—rustic yet elegant, with high ceilings, large windows that bring the forest right inside, and plenty of space. The outdoor areas were also a highlight. The decks offered stunning views of the trees and were perfect for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation, and evenings around the fire pits. The hot tub was especially relaxing after a day of hiking. The game room with poker, shuffleboard, arcade games, and a large TV was a favorite spot. We also tried the built-in escape room as a group—it was well-designed, challenging, and a lot of fun. Outside, the two-story playset with slides and climbing features was surprisingly entertaining for all ages. The cabin felt very thoughtfully prepared. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped for group meals, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. Multiple fireplaces, a spacious layout, and extras like laser tag made sure there was something for everyone. The location in Hochatown is ideal for daytime activities, while the cabin itself provides a luxurious and welcoming retreat at night. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the hosts for creating such a special property!

About the host

Because we built it as a family. My son and I milled the lumber and carved 48 crosses into the wood and furniture, while my wife designed the warmth and character you feel in every room. Even the saw blade became art on the wall. It’s not just a cabin — it’s something we made together.
Why they chose this property
We’re the ones who built and designed this cabin as a family, so we take pride in how it’s presented and how you experience it. We’re responsive and hands-on when needed, but we also respect your privacy. Most questions are answered within an hour during the day. If there’s ever an issue, we treat it like it’s our own home — because it is.
What makes this property unique
It was built by a father and son and designed by my wife. We milled and restored the barnwood ourselves, turned the saw blade into art, and carved 48 Calvary crosses throughout the home and furniture — a hidden scavenger hunt for guests who want to look. You won’t find this level of personal craftsmanship anywhere else.
