Tucked into a lush corner of Ojai, Sacred Ground Estate is a serene private retreat where modern comfort meets the timeless beauty of the Ojai Valley. Set on a gated 1.11-acre hillside surrounded by orchards, lavender fields, and mountain views, the estate offers a rare blend of privacy, tranquility, and refined design—just minutes from Ojai’s charming village, restaurants, shops, and hiking trails.

The estate comfortably sleeps up to 13 guests across three beautifully designed living spaces: Lavender House, Hillside Haven, and the historic Chapel. Together they create a versatile retreat ideal for families, small groups, wellness gatherings, or extended stays seeking both shared experiences and private space.

Lavender House – The Heart of the Estate
Lavender House serves as the main residence and central gathering space of the property. The home opens into a spacious, light-filled great room featuring a fireplace, comfortable living area, and a high-end chef’s kitchen with butler’s pantry. Expansive glass doors open fully to a secluded pool terrace, creating seamless indoor-outdoor living.

Outside, guests can enjoy the private pool, bar area, grill, and outdoor dining spaces designed for long afternoons and warm Ojai evenings. Upstairs, the home sleeps up to seven guests across four thoughtfully designed bedrooms with two full bathrooms, while a convenient half bath downstairs supports daytime living and entertaining.

Hillside Haven – A Peaceful Garden Studio
Perched on a quiet hillside above the estate, Hillside Haven is a luxurious Spanish-style studio designed for relaxation and privacy. The space features a king bed, optional full Murphy bed, full kitchen, and a spa-like bathroom. Soft natural light fills the space while views of the gardens and valley create a calm, restorative atmosphere.

Guests staying here can step outside to enjoy peaceful grounds and stroll down to the orchard to pick fresh seasonal fruit—a simple pleasure that captures the spirit of Ojai living.

The Chapel – A Romantic Historic Escape
Once a sacred gathering place, the estate’s historic Chapel has been beautifully restored into an intimate and luxurious guest retreat. Vaulted ceilings, soft natural light, and timeless architecture create an atmosphere that feels both romantic and serene.

The Chapel sleeps two to three guests and includes its own full kitchen, elegant living space, and private patio—perfect for enjoying Ojai’s famous “pink moment” sunsets as the mountains glow in the evening light.

The Estate Experience
Sacred Ground Estate is designed as a peaceful sanctuary where guests can gather, relax, and reconnect with nature. The grounds feature fruit orchards, lavender fields, and beautifully landscaped gardens that invite quiet walks and moments of reflection. Guests are welcome to wander the property, relax on the lawns, or pick fresh fruit from the orchard during the season.

Despite its tranquil setting, the estate is only minutes from downtown Ojai, making it easy to explore the area’s celebrated restaurants, hiking trails, farmers markets, and wellness culture.

A host resides on the property and is available if needed, while guest spaces remain fully private.

Private Wellness Club
Our property is part of a Private Membership Association (PMA)—similar to other wellness retreats in Ojai. After booking, the guest who made the reservation will just need to sign a quick membership agreement (no extra costs). You’re free to cancel your membership anytime after your visit.

Pool Heating - Add-on
Pool heating is available for $280 (2 days) or $350 (3 days). Additional days can be added for longer stays.

Pets
We welcome up to two well-behaved dog. A $95 pet fee applies.

Additional Property Notes:
Sacred Ground Estate is designed as a peaceful retreat environment. Parties, events, and loud gatherings are not permitted, and quiet hours begin at 9:00 PM to maintain the tranquil atmosphere of the property. All guest parking must be inside the gate, as street parking is not permitted. Please also drive slowly and respectfully through the neighborhood, as there are
families and children nearby.

Laundry Facilities:
The main laundry room is located within the host`s quarters although access can be arranged if needed. Additionally, the Chapel has a washer/dryer in the kitchen space.
