The host was super responsive and communicated well. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous.

The house was clean & offered complimentary Netflix, but the price was too high for what's offered. The house sleeps 10 but the dining room seats 8 and the living room about 5. They could use another bathroom; 8 people sharing 1 shower is too much. Luckily, the owners (who were very friendly) allowed us to use the basement which gave us access to 2 additional rooms with king beds, a pull-out couch, and full bathroom; so everyone was much more comfortable. The price felt more worth it with this extra space. It should be included with every stay.There wasn't enough toilet paper or bath towels & only 1 dish towel was provided in the kitchen. They need a recycle trashcan in the house. The back deck needs to be redone. The house could use screen doors to keep bugs out while allowing fresh air in. We could not find the pickleball net. There are no towels for hot tub use. Upstairs back room ceiling fan is broken. Cell service is bad at the house & the internet could not support all TVs & cell phones.The welcome binder in the house asked us to wipe down the house before leaving because the cleaning fee only covers light cleaning. We would be charged if more cleaning was required. The worst part is touting the lake & charging a premium for a private dock with lake access, but according to locals, that lake's water levels haven't been high enough for water to reach the dock in at least 5 years, but they charge an additional 35/day for hot tub use.We would not stay here again.

Regarding the lake, water levels naturally fluctuate from year to year due to weather conditions. While the shoreline has receded since wetter years, we hope guests still enjoy the peaceful waterfront setting and private dock. Thank you again for your feedback.
