Wonderful home in a scenic town

We stayed for a week - the home is very well kept and clean. Absolutely wonderful - spectacular view of the valley from the sunroom and upstairs patio; the kitchen is very well equipped. The town is absolutely lovely, and it's just a short walk (10mins) to the main market square with waterfall. Another 15 minutes walking will take you to the other end of the town where you can admire vineyards and a medieval keep (part of the castle ruins). A fantastic view of the entire valley and surrounding hills awaits you once you finish climbing the stairs - well worth the effort. In addition to German towns like Trier and Saarbrucken, Luxembourg, France and even Belgium are all less than an hour drive away from this town - great location with plenty of things to do and see in the area.

Ausgezeichnete und zu Recht mit Fünf Sternen klassifizierte Ferienwohnung! Excellente großzügige Räumlichkeiten für sechs Personen- wir haben mit Freunden sonnige Herbsttage in diesem herausragenden Refugium verlebt! Das Vermieterehepaar ist sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit, sei es mit Wander- und Winzertipps oder wie bei uns mit Auto-Werkstattempfehlungen. Wunderbare Lage mit erhöhtem Blick auf die Weinberge, toller Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen (z.B. Saar-Schleife) und Städteausflüge wie Metz, Luxemburg und Trier. Absolute Empfehlung!

Besser als erwartet

Wir haben grundsätzlich hohe Erwartungen an unsere Unterkünfte. Die Ferienwohnung „Am alten Weinberg“ übertraf unsere Erwartung erheblich: sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gepflegt, äußerst geräumig und großzügig geschnitten. Der wunderbare Wintergarten entschädigte für die Tatsache, dass die tolle Terrasse wetterbedingt nicht genutzt werden konnte. In der gut ausgestatteten Küche macht es Spaß, sich selbst zu versorgen und gemütliche Abend „daheim“ zu verbringen. Für unsere beiden Teenagerbuben bot die Gegend mit dem spannenden EU Dreieck F-LUX-D genug Abwechslung und wer die feinen Weine der Gegend entdecken will, wende sich sich vertrauensvoll an den kundigen und sympathischen Hausherren Herrn Wagner. Herzlichen Dank auch an Frau Wagner für den freundlichen Empfang!

Wunderschöne sehr große ruhige 5 Sterne Wohnung.

Sehr große wunderschöne helle Wohnung mit traumhaften Wintergarten, mit Blick auf die Weinberge. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig gelegen. Alles in der Wohnung vorhanden was das Herz bergehrt, einschließlich sehr nette Vermieter. Deshalb sind wir nicht das letzte Mal in dieser Wohnung

Super appartement!

Top locatie met fantastisch uitzicht, zowel vanuit het appartement als vanaf het terras. De eigenaren wonen beneden en zijn zeer gastvrij. Het appartement is zeer ruim, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is ook een fietsenberging met mogelijkheid tot opladen, mocht je e-bikes mee willen nemen. Het appartement is op loopafstand van het centrum van Saarburg. Een absolute aanrader!!

Perfekte FeWo

Lage, FeWo und Vermieter bekommen 5 Sterne. Wir haben uns sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Ausflüge, ob mit Fahrrad, Auto und zu Fuß haben uns den Urlaub positiv „verkürzt“. Gaststätten (unsere Empfehlung ist die Zunftstube am Wasserfall) und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in Saarburg ausreichend vorhanden.

Super Ferienwohnung

Wir haben eine wunderschöne und sehr angenehme Woche in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, modern eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz mit großen Zimmern, Wintergarten und Terrasse. Von der Terrasse und dem Wintergarten hat man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Umgebung. Die Wohnung ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung von Saarburg und Umgebung.
