Escape to Ripley Hill cabin at Forest Echo. The cabin sits on a hill just above the Farm Pond swimming hole, which you can just see through the trees. The luxuries at Forest Echo Farm are not inside the cabins; they are found in the light that fills the forest in late afternoon, the silence of an evening canoe on Tiny Pond and the moonlit sparkle of dewdrops at midnight. Forest Echo Farm includes 360 acres, extensive shore to a 26 acre protected pond, numerous trails, and half a mountain. Hike to the lake for shared canoes/kayaks.There is NO WiFi OR ELECTRICITY at the cabin. You can't charge your devices at the cabin. Ask if you have a medical need to power a device while on property. Everything is gas, wood, solar, or hand powered. BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING (pillows, bed linens, blankets) and TOWELS. Bring your own food. NO HOUSEKEEPING, PLEASE LEAVE A CLEAN CABIN FOR THE NEXT GUESTS. Expect camping and the outdoors and you will love it; expect glamping and electricity and you will be disappointed. The "office" listed above is actually a screened porch with a queen-bed; wake up to birdsong! Full indoor bathroom plus an outhouse. Kitchen: solar-powered refrigerator, gas stove, and a sink. All kitchen gear provided. Hot and cold running water inside. Wood stove and a fireplace in the main room. LP gas lamps and solar lamps provided. The cabins are rustic and clean. Take your trash, compost, and recyclables to the Caretakers at the Barn. Drop off your keys too.
If you have brought a dog with you, please pay extra attention to clean up any dog hair.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
There is no WiFi or electricity to charge your devices at any of the cabins. Ask if medical need.
No housekeeping, please leave a clean cabin for the next guests.

Rustic and Comfortable Cabins
No power lines cross our property, no electricity reaches our cabins. We have no blaring screens to distract us from the sound of the wind in the leaves or to call us back to the whirl of modern life. But that does not mean we are without any of the comforts of civilization.

Each cabin has hot and cold gravity-fed running water, a gas stove for cooking, gas lights and even a solar-powered refrigerator. The cabins are rustic, but clean and airy.
