Rural house in El Hierro, in the village of San Andres, a small and quiet village near the capital Valverde, at an altitude of about 1000 metres, in a central area of the island that makes it accessible to all places, at the crossroads between Frontera, Restinga and Valverde, as close to the sea as to the mountains. The paradisiacal volcanic island of El Hierro is the smallest and westernmost island of the Canary archipelago. In 2000, UNESCO declared El Hierro a World Biosphere Reserve due to its great ecological value, an ideal place for hiking and close to important places on the island such as El Arbol Santo or Garoé, Mirador de la Peña or Mirador de Jinamar.

The house is located in a rural setting with numerous orchards, vegetable gardens and fruit trees. The house is located in the main street of San Andrés, just a few metres from the supermarket and several restaurants where you can enjoy Canarian cuisine and wine. The friendliness and hospitality of the locals is outstanding.

Built more than a century ago, the house dates back to 1890, but completely renovated in 2020 and retains the structure of traditional Herreña architecture noticeable in the finials and windows, ceilings and carved wooden doors, renovated with high quality materials, stone walls over a metre wide, with barely noticeable changes in temperature, which conveys peace inside and out, "a house with soul".The house was named "Aborigen Bimbache" in honour of the original inhabitants of the island of El Hierro, an indigenous tribe called Bimbache, who came from North Africa and founded El Hierro, a tribal community included in the Canarian aborigines.recommended activities: Hiking, diving, traditional fishing, underwater fishing, paragliding, cycling or horse riding.
