SPACE FOR EVERYONE

The main level is designed for gathering, with soaring ceilings, expansive windows, a dramatic stone fireplace and a large dining table that seats 10. The fully equipped kitchen features an 8-burner Viking range, double ovens and generous counter space for group meals.

Downstairs, a second living area offers a pool table, fireplace, large television and direct access to the private hot tub patio. With gathering areas on multiple levels, adults and children can enjoy their own space while remaining together under one roof.
The bedrooms are distributed across three levels, providing privacy for multiple families or couples. The primary suite occupies its own level, while a separate suite above the garage offers additional separation. Each bedroom has access to its own full bathroom.

WINTER AT THE LODGE

Walk across the street to access the slopes, then return to heated ski storage, a boot dryer and a private hot tub. The nearby Market Gondola connects you to Mountain Village Center, with continuing gondola service into downtown Telluride.

SUMMER AND FALL

Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, festivals and fishing, with paddleboard and kayak rentals readily available for exploring Elk Lake. Return home for dinner on the upper deck or an evening around the fire pit overlooking the lake.

Best house ever

We absolutely loved elk lake lodge. The house was stunning and the views of the mountains from almost every window were breathtaking. The walk to the gondola was quick and peaceful and again the views while walking are unmatched. The house has everything you need and provides so much peace and tranquility. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go back. James family

A Perfect Introduction to Telluride!

This trip marked an unforgettable milestone as our first adventure to Colorado beyond a work journey for my husband, and it exceeded every expectation in the most delightful way! The house was beautifully decorated and maintained, boasting 5-star amenities from the plush linens to the shower products. It was definitely designed for multiple families, but also allowed moments of solitude. The views were nothing short of breathtaking with multiple outdoor seating areas to enjoy. Just a short stroll to the gondolas and market for effortless grocery shopping, and while there were countless charming local activities to explore, the house truly became our haven, making it challenging to venture out. Our children adored the house and hot tub just as much as the complimentary gondola rides. We created memories that will last a lifetime. Without a doubt, we will return again and again!

Unbeatable location, luxurious and comfortable details, all the amenities you need and more!

We couldn’t have had a better place to stay for our needs this summer. The ~5 minute walk to the gondola was amazing for us and our youngsters, aged 5 and 8. We loved getting quick access to the market, mountain, and the town of Telluride. Even on the return home, with the mountains to our back, the semi private lake where the home calmly sits was a site to take in! The adventurous days didn’t end once settled at the home. Our kids, and adults, loved to play pool, board/card games on the porch, and relax with a hot tub dip taking in the beautiful Telluride mountain scenery! When it was time to settle into bedrooms the high-end finishes, art/thoughtful decor, and quality beddings were a joy! We traveled with another family with 2 kids, and the house worked great for this! It is set up with two primaries, all other bedrooms are en suites too, and some have their own outside entrances- great when traveling with multiple families/couples. The hosts were always very responsive, and they have local management companies that drop by if necessary. I can not recommend this place enough! We will definitely return, and I’m sure you will too!

Had an amazing stay at Elk Lake Lodge - highly recommend!

We loved staying here! The home is beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed stunning unobstructed views of the mountains and the lake directly behind the home. It is a very pleasant 5-10 min walk along the lake to Mountain Village, which has a great grocery and liquor store, a gondola stop that goes directly to Mountain Village Center with more shops and restaurants and another quick gondola into Telluride (or elsewhere on the mountain), a place for coffee and tacos, and a tour agency. Plenty of great trails all around that we had fun exploring on foot. When not out enjoying the outdoors, there is a very well-equipped kitchen with plenty of counterspace on the main level, a pool table and a hot tub on the bottom level, a ping pong table in the garage, big TVs with nice sound systems in both the living room upstairs and the rec room downstairs, and plenty of games to stay entertained. The beds and bathrooms were all immaculate, comfy, well-stocked with soap, shampoo, etc., and tastefully decorated. We didn't need anything while we there, but the host is lovely and responded quickly to our messages. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and hope to be back in the future!

Lovely well stocked property

Property is lovely, location is great and easy walk to the gondola. It has great amenities for the entire family. The only issue is we had to close the windows due to the smoke due to the fires so the upstairs bedrooms got a little warm in the evenings but this is at no fault to owner, Would absolutely rent again and owner is wonderful to work with
