Summary:

Eagle Springs East 101 - Red-Wing Suite

The Space:

Find your family's new favorite year-round vacation spot at this wonderful Solitude condo for six. There is also convenient heated underground parking and storage for your winter gear!

Nice furnishings combined with all the essentials of home, such as WiFi and a washer and dryer, create a welcoming and cozy space for your family or group of friends to relax and spend quality time together.

Just through the front door is an open living area where many nights will be spent playing games at the dining table for six and watching movies on the living room's flatscreen TV (cable and a Blu-ray player are attached). Light the gas fireplace for warmth and ambiance and snuggle up on the sofa with a large bowl of popcorn, or when the weather is nice, step out on the patio to stargaze and sip a glass of wine.

Pack along fresh ingredients to whip up homemade meals in a snap. With smooth granite countertops, major appliances, and add-ons like a dishwasher, coffeemaker, slow cooker, blender, and toaster, the chef will feel right at home.

One full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is to the right of the front door, and a second bathroom with a deep soaking tub/shower combo is attached to the luxurious primary bedroom. A king bed is featured in the primary bedroom and the guest room has a twin-over-queen bunk bed and a twin bunk bed, providing ample space for all six guests.

Family Ski Trip

Perfect spot for our family ski trip. Location was convenient to the village shops, restaurants and most importantly the ski lifts. The unit has all we needed to cook a few meals during our stay. Property managers were easy to communicate with. Perfect for our family of six.

Great Property as Advertised

Property was clean, great condition, and loved the end unit. Perfect location to ski Solitude and Brighton. Not much night life but ski in/out was wonderful. Check in process was a little unclear uing Vacasa but we figured it out. Highly recommend.

Solitude, Utah Condo

Very Good (second year staying in same unit) superb accomodations and location. Please having cleaning people pull the dishwasher drain and clean filter (I did it myself and poured bleach in afterwards) also ceiling fan blades need dusting. Everything else good.

100% Perfect!!!

I have never used Vacasa before. This was by far the best experience ever. Far exceeded VRBO. The condo was perfectly maintained…beautiful and clean. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of seating for the family. I was impressed with the extras. Plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent and dishwashing liquid. There were plenty of pot and pans and spices for cooking.

Nice spot for a longterm stay

A lovely little place. Well furnished and comfortable—kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and baking. A 5 - 10 minute walk to Apex lift, so definitely not ski in / ski out, but still convenient. Lockers were pretty small to try to fit 4 people’s gear. I was finding it quite difficult to communicate with Vacasa (every time a different person with a different answer), but once the property manager herself reached out, it was a totally different experience. Patricia was amazing and helped get everything sorted out in no time, plus checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed and was super responsive.

Great Unit - Beware Vacasa

The property itself is terrific. Five stars in all ways. This is a corner unit with lots of light and easy access. We have stayed in this building in other units - this one is the nicest one we have seen. It has everything you need, is very tastefully appointed, and is close to the ski lifts and Club Solitude amenities. Great place! However, there is a major caveat: Vacasa. We will not be renting this unit again unless the owner stops using Vacasa to manage the property. In the past we have always booked units in this building directly with Solitude resort. Solitude is great - they offer 5 star service to their guests ... however if you booked via Vacasa you are treated as third class. Simple things like leaving a bag in the office on check out day or paying to extend parking a few hours after check out (to allow skiing that day) - which were simple in the past - were impossible. This effectively turned a 5 day vacation into a 4 day vacation. Vacasa has a well oiled and automated system that works okay until you want service after hours or on a weekend - and then it fails miserably. We love Solitude and will be back again - but we will book a unit through Solitude's system.

We'd Come Back!

This was our first time to Solitude. It was me, my husband and our 19yo son. There was plenty of room for us. We loved the small village and how close everything was to this condo. It is not true ski-in/out, as advertised. It is a 5 minute walk through the village to the nearest lift. We got a lot of snow while we were there and did see a few people skate-skiing to buildings a little closer to the mountain but Eagle Springs East is a little too far for that. The unit was one of the best-stocked units we've ever stayed in. They had everything you'd need in the unit - laundry detergent, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, soap, trash bags, basic spices and oils, coffee filters. The coffee make is a regular drip machine and they even have a bean grinder. There is a small shelf with a light and outlet above each bunk bed which is a very thoughtful and useful detail. The locker is very small - the full length old style metal gymnasium style locker - not big enough for everyone's boots and skis but not a big deal. The kitchen and bathroom surfaces and floors were spotless clean. The only observation about cleanliness is the ceiling fans and bathroom vents were covered in a thick layer of dust and a few of the throw rugs and pillows and maybe a few of the blankets could use a re-fresh. Overall, we loved this unit and all its thoughtful details and would most definitely rent it again!

Great location, central and near lifts. Pool was so nice and relaxing. First time check-in is not intuitive will involve some guess work for location/keys. Basement parking for 1 car and carts with elevator is very helpful...loved the time at Solitude!

Perfect for Solitude Skiing

Well maintained room with a short walk to the Solitude lifts. The resort had short lines for food, rentals, and lift tickets. Plenty of room for families 4-6 people. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location and great unit

The condo was spacious and exceptionally clean upon arrival. Nice comfortable furnishings and the perfect size for our family of 4. The location is conveniently located in the same building as Club Solitude with access to game room, theater and pool/sauna. We loved our stay here.

Lovely Mountain Condo

It was so nice to have direct mount access and be on the first floor. The lifts at Solitude were about a 3 min walk. We felt super safe from the effects of the pandemic there first because the property is at the end of the hall. Next, everyone adhered to the property's mask mandate. The dedicated gear locker is another plus. The interior of the condo is exactly as advertised. It was comfortable, super clean and cozy. Furnished with everything one needs to relax and enjoy their vacation. Kitchen supplies and equipment, sheets, extra blankets and towels. It is obvious that the owners are fond of their home and take great care to assure that their guest are comfortable. The washer and dryer was another great bonus!
