The house owners have canoes in one of the mountain lakes that you can borrow. By car you can quickly reach Tysse with cozy country store as well as Bjørkheim and Eikelandsosen with stores and cafes. Bergen is only about an hour away. Recommended are trips along the Hardangerfjord and inland.
