Chalet Julia offers a "holiday of short distances", as no car is needed for skiing, après-ski and shopping. To the village centre with shops, restaurants, childcare ~150 m on foot (not on a path). To the ski school, ice rink and indoor swimming pool ~350 m. Beautiful hillside location on the edge of the forest. The historic Bisses hiking trail starts directly at the chalet (summer). The chalet has four floors. On the ground floor is the spacious living/dining room with its cosy sitting area by the open fireplace. Access to the large balcony. The kitchen area is modern and equipped to a high standard. There is also a gallery open to the living room as a reading and TV corner. Ten of the bedrooms have their own en suite bathroom with WC. Each room has access to a terrace or balcony. Pleasant walks, e.g. sections of the typical Valais bisses (bisses) waterways. The Bisse de Saxon leads directly past the chalet and on via Nendaz to Vercorin. Total trail network around 150 km. Interesting excursion possibilities due to the location in the border triangle Switzerland - Italy - France, e.g. with the Mont Blanc Express to Chamonix, or over the Great St. Bernard Pass into the Italian Aosta Valley. To the bathing lake Les Iles approx. 20 minutes by car.
