This was the second time we stayed at the property. It is nicely redone inside, is quiet and has beautiful views of the sunset. Communication from the host was prompt and effective which was appreciated.

This is a basic, rustic cottage with a nicely remodeled kitchen / living room area. We were grateful for the air conditioning as it was super hot the first several days there. The cool air in the living room was a huge relief. The lake has a sandy shore and a small, shallow area appropriate for swimming. It's a quiet lake and neighbors we met were friendly.

The overall stay would be a 7/10. It was enjoyable, but we noticed quickly that the bed and floors hadn’t been cleaned with long black hairs to be found often in unpleasant places, we did bring our dog with us but she is a yellow lab so finding other hairs in lots of places wasn’t the best surprise. We also noticed the computer was non existent as it was just a monitor with no access to a computer or keyboard. Those are our only complaints Blake was easy to talk with but we just didn’t feel the hassle on our honey moon to go through the cleaning fee and process, so we laid our own blankets down and didn’t disturb what we left for us on the bed. Overall it was enjoyable with some unexpected mishaps. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming and the beach was very enjoyable. The AC was nice to have and the kitchen has been redone well. Thank you.

The host was great with communication. There was an unexpected Damage Waiver outside the app. The place could use more seating on the living room and cooking amenities for dinner.

The thing that stood out to me, the most, were the amazingly friendly people that were there. One person who lives there year-round, loaned us two fishing rods and some bait. He also took us out on his pontoon boat. We enjoyed our stay very much. Hopefully, we'll see you next year.
