Welcome to this charming accommodation in Detern, with rural architecture from the 16th and 17th centuries and breathtaking panoramic views of the Frisian landscape. Here you will come into an enchanting harmony with nature. Breathe the fresh country air (farm nearby) and enjoy the view over pastures, sheep and fields.
A typical Frisian ambience awaits you in the vacation apartment. A successful mix of old and new makes up its character. The friendly hosts and the sustainable cleaning concept for people and nature provide a sense of well-being. On the first floor you will find the kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs is the bedroom and living room with another separate sleeping area. On the terrace you can have breakfast in peace, unwind, read or barbecue.
Anglers with fishing license will find ideal conditions here: You can start fishing just behind the house in a flowing body of water.
This vacation home is the ideal place to explore East Frisia from a central location. Various swimming opportunities are available, such as the Jümmesee in 6 km distance. To Dangast at the Jadebusen it is about 45 minutes, as well as to Dollart, close to the Dutch border. The ferries to the East Frisian Islands can be reached in about an hour by car.
Bicyclists will also get their money's worth. The nearby North Sea coastal cycle path is with 6,000 km one of the longest cycle paths in the world. Experience the silence of this untouched nature. The Wadden Sea with its salty air, lighthouses and mills are prominent landmarks of this region. Bike rental can be arranged on site.
