The Saar-Lor-Lux European Region consists of the German state of Saarland (“Saar”), the French region of Lorraine (French: Lorraine – “Lor”), and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (“Lux”). Today, the “Greater Region” also includes the Walloon Region in Belgium and the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate.
A very beautiful, bright holiday apartment for 2 people, renovated in 2021, located in the hillside area of Konz-Roscheid in an eco-friendly development in a quiet setting on the edge of the forest; 91 square metres with large windows overlooking the garden, facing SSW–WO.
Non-smoking apartment, non-smoking garden; cars may not be washed.

Accessibility information:
The apartment is accessible at ground level from the car park. There is a small step in front of the front door. The front door is 79 cm wide; all doors in the apartment are 82 cm wide.
The Moselle (French: Moselle, Luxembourgish: Musel), whose name means “Little Meuse,” originates in France in the Vosges Mountains at the Col de Bussang and flows into the Middle Rhine at Koblenz.

The section of the Moselle from the German-French-Luxembourg tripoint to the confluence with the Saar near Konz, just before Trier, is known in Germany as the Upper Moselle.

The confluence of the Saar (the Moselle’s most important tributary) with the Moselle near Konz is particularly picturesque.

The holiday region is characterised by viticulture, cultural and historical sites, and a thriving hiking culture. Cycling tours are also ideal. You can easily reach the premium bike paths along the Saar and Moselle via a feeder bike path starting from the holiday rental. Forests, vineyards, and hiking trails are just a few minutes’ walk away.
