Haifisch - 100 m² vacation home with infrared sauna, fireplace, garden, and covered patio

Welcome to our new, exclusive “Haifisch” Frisian-style house in Grachtenpark! First rental starting in January 2022.

This tastefully furnished holiday home, with its maritime North Sea charm, sleeps 6 people and features 3 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. It’s located in the beautiful Grachtenpark on a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of town. The property has access to the water via a shared dock where you can launch your own boat. The beautiful town centre, with its many shops, restaurants, and cafes, as well as the picturesque harbour and the famous twin windmills, are just a few minutes’ walk away. There’s also a large supermarket with a bakery right nearby.

On the ground floor is a large, light-filled living and dining area with a modern, fully equipped kitchen featuring a large cooking island. Because the kitchen is oriented towards the attached two-meter-long dining table for six people, you can interact with your guests while cooking in an open-kitchen style. Cooking here is a joy! High-quality dishes, silverware, and glasses are provided for multiple courses. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a large, separate freezer compartment, a microwave with a grill function, an oven, a large induction cooktop with expandable cooking zones, a kettle, a coffee maker, a pod coffee machine (Tassimo / Bosch), toaster, blender, egg cooker, hand blender, and much more.

In the living area, you’ll find a cosy corner sofa, a large flat-screen TV with 2 USB ports and a Blu-ray player, as well as a digital radio with internet radio functionality. The wood-burning stove invites you to enjoy cosy evenings and quiet moments.

On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, as well as a large spa-style bathroom with a walk-in rain shower (1.00 m x 1.30 m) and an infrared sauna for two people.

All three bedrooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The floors in these rooms are covered with high-quality vinyl. The remaining rooms are tiled. This makes the house allergy-friendly. All windows are fitted with insect screens and pleated blinds. The bedrooms and the bathroom on the ground floor are equipped with electric blinds. The skylights can be darkened using the built-in roller shades.

On the upper floor is the second full bathroom, equipped with a shower, a hair dryer, and a washing machine with a dryer function. The house also includes a baby bathtub, a changing pad, a high chair, a clothes drying rack, and an iron.

Also on the upper floor are the other two bedrooms. A large bedroom with a double bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m), a travel cot, a large closet, a chest of drawers, and a cosy wingback chair with a footstool. The third bedroom is furnished with two single beds, each measuring 0.90 m x 2.00 m, a small built-in closet, and a chest of drawers. From the window of this room, you have a magnificent view of the canal.

Underfloor heating throughout the house ensures a cosy atmosphere.

All windows are equipped with insect screens.

The 20-square-meter terrace, facing southeast, bathes you in light and warmth from morning until late afternoon. Garden furniture for six people, a kettle grill with grilling utensils, and a large umbrella with a light for the evening hours invite you to linger. The terrace is covered, and the garden is fenced in.

A garden shed with an electrical socket is available for storing your bicycles and charging e-bikes.

A private parking space is located directly in front of the house. Additional, unassigned parking spaces are available.

Pets are not permitted in this non-smoking house.

We are now able to offer charging stations for electric cars at Greetsieler Grachtenpark (for a fee based on usage); however, we cannot guarantee continuous or unrestricted availability.
