This waterfront cabin style lake house is located off the historic K&P trail on Calabogie Lake and steps away from the 18th green of the Calabogie Highlands Golf Course. Booking Friday-Friday in July & August.
The Space:
An easy access cabin off a well maintained road allows for year round use.
Upon entering the property you will access the rear patio and enter the kitchen. The kitchen space is well stocked with new amenities ensuring you have the equipment to cook healthy homemade meals. Enjoy locally fresh roasted Ottawa Valley coffee in a standard dip, French press, and pour over. Well stocked glassware for mocktails, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beer + bar shaker. From the kitchen you enter into the open concept living & dining area with full windows allowing pleasurable lake views. Comfortable new furnishings throughout the cabin make it extra cozy, lounge in the leather recliners or snuggle up on the sofa with a wool blanket. A large smart television provides entertainment in the evening hours. The balcony extends the full width of the cabin and is the cutest area to enjoy some quite time.
A total of three bedrooms and full bath are on the main level, two queen sized rooms with lake views and one twin bedroom are dressed with soft white linens and duvets. The lakeside rooms do have black out curtains to aid in a good nights rest. The natural wooden walls are warming and accentuate the cabin aesthetic.
On the lower level you have a plush entertaining area with a woodfired stove, a perfect place to hang out after skiing in the winter months. Hardwood for heating the wood stoves is complimentary for the cooler months. Patio doors grant access to the lakefront patio. A bunk room provides sleeping for three. The large king master suite has ample space, seating, and outdoor patio access. The mattress is memory foam and exceptionally soft, the cotton linens and duvet aid in the comforts of home. In addition to this level there is a secondary full size washroom and laundry room with access to a washer & dryer during your stay.
The lakefront patio provides an outdoor dining table and causal seating area for enjoying your day in the sun and relaxing in the evening hours. The fire pit area is a gathering location steps away from the patio, campfire wood and kindling are provided for guests along with fire starters.
Large green spaces allows for your pup to have freedom and the children to play. Guests have access to a canoe and additional water toys. The 200 feet of shoreline is stunning; clean, clear, walk in water access. The waters edge deck is the idea location to watch the sunset, the trees provide privacy and shelter if there is a breeze.
Outdoor hot tub seats 4-5 adults and cedar wood burning sauna allows for up to 6 adults at one time.
Being located on the K&P trail you have a gateway to adventure, ATV, snowmobile and hike the trail. Pleasure crafts are welcome, there is space to park a trailer. In the winter months you may request access to the garage for your snowmobiles. The cabin overlooks the Calabogie Peaks ski hill from across the lake and is less than 15 minutes away. The area is well known for it's scenic hiking trails, be sure to explore Eagles Nest & the Manitou Mountain Trail. The Calabogie Highlands Golf Resort is in your backyard, don't forget to book your tee time!

Guests are given full access to the property. The garage is locked unless requested for use prior to reservation.
The Neighborhood:
Behind the cabin is the Calabogie Highlands Golf Course. You can see the 18th green and club house from the rear of the cabin.
Other Things to Note:
This cabin is not secluded, there are friendly neighbors on each side of the property, you may see them at the waterside.
Calabogie is small village that provides essentials gas, groceries, LCBO, and dining.
Please note the cabin uses a septic system and only toilet paper can be flushed, all other products will cause damage. The well water is routinely tested for safety.
