Nestled in the heart of the Lechtal Alps, you’ll find a group house here within old, traditional walls. The mountain village of Boden was featured in the historical novel *Das verschworene Tal* and, with its 50 residents, still offers an idyllic setting in the heart of the Alps. The village, at an elevation of 1,356 m, is located about 25 km from Reutte, in a side valley of the well-known Lech Valley.
The Lechtal Group House from gruppenchalets.com is the ideal holiday rental for exclusive use by up to 28 guests. A romantic self-catering house for unforgettable holidays with friends and family or for a corporate event.
The rustic Erdschloss, with its wood-paneled living room, large kitchen for hosting all guests, and an additional lounge, offers plenty of space for game nights together. The terrace offers plenty of space for a cosy gathering to wrap up the evening on a fun note. The upper floor, with its 8 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, is equipped with 2–6 beds in each room. Just like in the old days, each room has its own sink, so there’s no conflict when using the 2 bathrooms with showers during your morning routine.
The bedrooms are prepared according to the number of guests booked. For example, if a booking is made for 10 guests, 10 beds will be made up. Which rooms are made available depends on occupancy.
The house primarily features shared rooms as well as three double rooms. Room and occupancy requests can be accommodated, if possible, no later than 10 days before arrival.
NO PARTIES OR ALCOHOLIC BINGES are permitted here!
The group and self-catering house is not a party or event venue. Socialising together is, of course, possible. However, parties, loud celebrations, bachelor/hen nights, and drinking binges are expressly prohibited.
The house is located right in the centre of Boden. Out of consideration for the area, outdoor noise must be kept to a normal conversation level after 10:00 PM.
Serious or repeated violations of these rules may result in immediate termination of your stay. Any resulting damages, additional cleaning costs, disposal fees, fines imposed by authorities, or other verifiable additional expenses will be deducted from the security deposit."
Unfortunately, the background to this is that certain groups consistently follow the same pattern: After a few drinks, they bring out the Bluetooth speaker; later, they play music at increasingly high volumes; and at night, they open all the windows because of the heat. This is no longer reasonable for the area and must be clearly prevented in the future.
In the summer, it serves as the starting point for many hikes into the beautiful mountain landscapes. For mountain bikers, it offers challenging terrain with fantastic bike tours. In recent years, it has become a popular hotspot for ski touring in the winter. For family winter holidays, there are gentle ski slopes with two beginner lifts. Here, your kids can practice their first turns at specialised ski schools. Plus, there’s a fun toboggan hill right in front of the holiday home. The nearest major ski resort is Stanzach. The Arlberg (Austria’s largest and best ski resort), including Lech, St. Anton, Warth, and Zürs, is also not far away.
