Blomquist Apartment:

The Blomquist Apartment offers everything you need to feel right at home during your holiday on Sylt. This beautiful thatched-roof house, surrounded by a hedge of wild roses, is located at the end of a quiet residential street. The modern and cosy holiday rental is perfect for families and anyone who’d like a little more space. It features a large living room, two bedrooms with double beds, and a room with a bunk bed—ideal for two children, for example (mattress length: 2 m). The apartment was renovated and refurbished in 2022. A highlight is the beautiful, large garden, which borders a small wood. There, you can lounge in your own beach chair or relax on the patio furniture, eat outdoors, and let the kids play without a care in the world. And should the weather happen to be typical of northern Germany, the living room offers plenty of space, a large modern sofa set, a Smart TV, and Wi-Fi. The kitchen also features a cosy, typically Frisian dining nook for the whole family and is fully equipped, including a Nespresso machine, milk frother, electric kettle, refrigerator, stove/oven, and dishwasher. The naturally lit bathroom features a shower, a modern heated towel rack, and a washing machine with a dryer function. There is also a small, separate guest bathroom.

There is space to park bicycles in front of the house. A bike rental shop is within easy walking distance. Across the street from the house, stairs lead to a beautiful little section of dunes that is open to the public. A large supermarket is just a 3-minute drive away, as are the List promenade, the List harbour with its restaurants (Gosch, etc.), and small shops and stores. Well-known and popular Sylt restaurants (Königshafen, LA Sylt, Wonnemeyer, etc.) are also very easy to reach.

The apartment is a perfect starting point for excursions by bike or car—for example, to the centre of the island—past the famous shifting sand dune—to Kampen or Wenningstedt. Or in the other direction, even further north, to Germany’s northernmost point on the beach at beautiful Ellenbogen.
