The 58-metre flat Margherita is ideal for 2-4 persons. Located on the second floor, it consists of a living room with kitchen and double sofa bed, a double bedroom, and a bathroom with shower. It also has a balcony with lake view, a private garage with automatic opening, and a communal swimming pool.
Only small dogs are allowed.
The flat is a 2-minute drive from the centre of Maderno with bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets and all basic necessities, as well as the lakefront where you can access the beaches, both free and paid, and the ferry service, which takes you to all the resorts on Lake Garda.
Toscolano Maderno stands on a wide promontory enclosed between the romantic port of Toscolano and the picturesque Gulf of Maderno. The area enjoys a very special microclimate comparable to the Mediterranean climate.
The municipality of Toscolano-Maderno is located on the Brescia side of Lake Garda, 40 km from the provincial capital Brescia. Toscolano and Maderno are two distinct centres: Maderno has a tourist vocation. Toscolano is of industrial origin: the paper mills in which paper money was printed until 1948 are famous. The paper museum, set up in recent years with a view to industrial archaeology, is much visited. The two centres are ideally divided by the Toscolano stream. It seems that Toscolano has Etruscan origins and Maderno Roman origins. In 1928, the two towns were united into a single municipality. Testifying to the importance of this pretty Garda village, once even the capital of the Garda Riviera, are the Toscolano parish church of Saints Peter and Paul, the ancient sanctuary of the Madonna del Benaco, the Basilica of Sant'Andrea in Maderno, and other buildings and monuments. Since the post-war period, hotel development has achieved considerable development and is currently the main economic activity. The Toscolano-Maderno area is particularly suitable for those who enjoy long walks and mountain-bike tours.
How to reach us:
By car from the Brenner Pass (A22): take the Rovereto Sud exit, continue in the direction of Brescia, drive along the Gardesana Occidentale to get to Toscolano-Maderno.
By car from Milan / Venice (A4) (A35): Exit Brescia Est. Follow the signs for Salò. Take the SS45bis in the direction of Salò without entering the town. Continue along the state road to Toscolano Maderno.
