Houseboat Fjord Capella - Solar boat in Barth

Fjord Capella is the first houseboat in our fleet to be equipped with a solar power system. The satisfaction of helping protect the environment comes free of charge.

This spacious, moored houseboat is perfect for two guests seeking relaxation and rejuvenation. A child or even a third guest can sleep on the comfortable fold-out mattress (220x75 cm). It is the only houseboat in Barth with an indoor infrared sauna featuring light therapy and a music system (Bluetooth). This type of sauna experience is less strenuous on the body, specifically warms different muscle groups, and ensures perfect recovery.

With 46 square metres of living space, Fjord Capella offers all the comforts comparable to a modern, high-end holiday apartment with a sun deck and rooftop terrace. The living area with open-concept kitchen is cosy and modernly furnished.

The fully equipped kitchen, complete with all essential appliances and an induction stove, leaves nothing to be desired. The dishwasher helps you quickly get back to focusing on the essentials of your holiday. On warm days, both the two sun decks below and the rooftop terrace invite you to relax and sunbathe. From here, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view across the Barther Bodden to the offshore Fischland–Darß–Zingst peninsula. The wonderful, colourful sunsets are a very special treat when viewed from the rooftop terrace.

Inside the houseboat, in addition to the living area, you’ll find a bedroom with a double bed and a modern bathroom with a shower. On cold days, underfloor heating and radiators provide cosy warmth. Ample storage space is provided by a closet, a sideboard in the living room, and drawers under the bed.

Please note that the use of bed linens is mandatory. You can either bring your own or add them to your booking during the reservation process.

At the Wendtorf, Barth, and Schleswig locations, additional fees in the form of a visitor’s tax, tourism fee, or lodging tax may apply. These costs are not included in the price and will be billed separately afterwards.
