This place was one of those rare finds where the in-person experience was better than the pictures. Very comfortable all around, close to where we wanted to be (Houston yacht club), e would definitely consider this location again in the future!

This place that we stayed was amazing! The craftmanship was amazing and was very clean and comfortable. We were 6 miles from Kemah, just far enough from the noise of traffic, etc.., but close enough to venture out daily. We highly recommend this place! We will be keeping their information very handy for the future!Gabbie Bourque

This home was beautiful the pictures didn’t do it justice. Everything was clean and up to date. The veranda was very nice and the back yard was huge with a hot tub. Two places to sit and read or just relax. The owners are very nice great communication. Loved the over head shower and nice bath tub for two if like bathes. We had a great stay and will definitely stay here again when we visit family in the Houston area. The beds were very comfortable and it is nice to have a bathroom in the veranda so you don’t have to go upstairs if you’re in the back yard. Plenty of firewood if you wanna build a fire in the chimney pit. This home is well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and in the veranda with a hammock and fan to keep you cool. Thank you Yoland for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home.

Warning!, Booked this property last minute within 24 hour of arrival with only 2 reviews. My flight canceled at the airport @ 7:00AM an hour before departure. Called the host to cancel my stay, and advise of my current situation, meanwhile received another phone call of a death in my family, causing another cancellation of my group of 5. This was not a good day. ending up with the host arguing with me over the phone why she (Yolanda) will not cancel rather I get there or not. What a world we live in. A huge disappointment. BOOK WITH CAUTION! not nice people!!!!

We had a great stay at this property during our trip to Houston. The home was exactly what we needed, and honestly, it looked even better in person than it did in the pictures online, which was a pleasant surprise. There was a little confusion regarding our early check-in, but Yolonda was very responsive and handled the situation promptly, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and we would definitely consider staying here again.

As a retired Nursing Instructor, I have always enjoyed caring for and helping others. Today, I continue that passion by providing guests with a comfortable, welcoming place to relax and create lasting memories.

Our cottage is ideally located near Seabrook, NASA Johnson Space Center, Kemah Boardwalk, and Clear Lake, offering something for visitors of all ages—from waterfront dining and boating to family attractions and sightseeing.

My husband, Doc, and I truly enjoy sharing our little piece of heaven on earth and hope your stay is filled with relaxation, adventure, and wonderful memories.

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because it captures the true essence of coastal living—a quiet, peaceful community where neighbors are friendly and life moves at a more relaxed pace. It feels like the kind of welcoming coastal town where you can slow down, enjoy the natural surroundings, and appreciate the simple pleasures of waterfront living.

What makes this property unique

Our cottage offers a true coastal escape in a peaceful, small-town community where friendly neighbors and nature go hand in hand. Wake up to birdsong, playful squirrels, and colorful butterflies, then spend your day fishing, exploring the waterfront, or simply relaxing in the bay breeze. Unlike a typical hotel stay, you'll enjoy the comfort of a home-away-from-home and the chance to slow down and appreciate the simple pleasures of coastal living.
