Sehr schöne Lage direkt an den Dünen und Hundestrand. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön geschnitten und in einem sehr guten Zustand. Fahrradverleih und kleiner Laden direkt um die Ecke. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. (2 Erwachsene und 1 Hund)

Erholsame Tage

Nach einigen Jahren Abwesenheit durfte ich endlich mal wieder ein paar erholsame Tage auf Juist verbringen. Die hübsche und gut ausgestattete Wohnung hat dazu ebenfalls beigetragen. Alle Ansprechpartner von wfv waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder!

Juist - ein Erfahrungsbericht

Zunächst Chaos in Norddeich mit der Fähre, keinerlei Informationen zu Gepäck Ausladen und zu einem Vorschiff. Dann fast 3 km zu Fuß vom Hafen zu der Fewo das Fahrrad schieben bei Sturm und Regen, weil wir einen Hund dabei hatten. Die Lage der Fewo ist einzigartig, nur 300m zum Strand, um die Ecke ein Supermarkt, 500m - 700m zu 2 Restaurants. Allerdings Geld darf auf der gesamten Insel keine Rolle spielen, alles ist doppelt so teuer hier. Die Terasse ist schön aber wir konnten diese nie benutzen, weil immer ein böiger, starker und kalter Wind bläst. Die Temperaturen im Hochsommer lagen so zwischen 15-20° und es regnet jeden Tag, zuerst volle Sonne, dann schieben der ständige Wind die Wolken heran und es regnet aus zuvor heiterem Himmel. Die Fewo ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, was fehlt ist ein Backofen. Es gibt so gut wie keine Schallisolierung, man hört jeden Schritt von den Nachbarn darüber und es gibt nur eine extrem schlechte Handyverbindung. Die Wanderwege um den Hammersee und weiter zur Domäne Bill, sowie die Umrundung mit den Dünen sind ein Highlight mit all der vom Wind geprägten Vegetation. Die Weite am Strand hat fast etwas mystisches, man kann total entspannen und entschleunigen vom Alltag. Wer allerdings Action sucht der ist hier völlig falsch, nach 3-4 Tagen hat man alles Neue entdeckt, es geht viel mehr darum, sich irgendwo hinzusetzen und diese Stille und unberührte Natur auf sich wirken zu lassen.
