Great property, our family had the best time, the kids loved the dock, canoe and beach toys. The house was updated and beautiful. Quiet peaceful location. We were in town for the Ironman and would definitely stay again, thanks!
The place was superb! The accommodations were excellent and the location for me was great. The deck was the best part of the cottage. I would recommend this cottage to anyone!

Great place on platte
The cottage is perfectly situated on Platte lake. Great beach front and dock with a big yard. The house setup is perfect.
It was a perfect place for us. The lake access and beach was the best especially for our grandkids. Just the right amount of space in the bedrooms and the main room. Would love to be able to rent again!
We loved the proximity to float the river and Platte beach. The property was beautiful, everything seemed brand new inside. Our only complaint was the water had a horrible rotten egg smell. But we still really enjoyed our stay.

Matthew, thank you for sharing your experience, we're so pleased you enjoyed your stay. The home has a well and is directly on the lake which would cause the odor and we apologize for any inconvenience. Our local manager noted that typically letting the water run briefly will dissipate the concern. We enjoyed having you as our guest and hope to host you again.

Perfect scenic getaway!
My husband and I enjoyed this property in early fall when the leaves were just starting to change. It is such a peaceful place to unwind and relax. The home is well appointed with linens, towels, etc., and the large kitchen is amazing - totally updated and well equipped! We used the canoe on the property to enjoy the lake and took several scenic drives and hikes in the area. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Beautiful home on Platte Lake for relaxation
Overall a beautiful home on a wonderful northern Michigan lake. The home was clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and furniture. We enjoyed swimming in the lake off the dock and having a fire in the fire pit. Did not end up using the canoe but I wish we had taken it out at least once. Our days were filled with exploring the area - dunes, beaches, Platte River, and great nearby towns. The area was pretty quiet - not much traffic on the private drive.
Loved the site. We had a great time. The property manager certainly didn’t bother us. Felt a little adrift from Vacasa. Didn’t find the brochure until the last day.

Wonderful location
Very nice location right on Platte Lake. Lovely sunrises. There is a large strip of forest between the small neighborhood and M-22 so it is very quiet. Very easy to explore the area from this location. Nice back deck, which would have been even more enjoyable with the addition of more patio furniture. There were fans in each bedroom, nice linens, lightweight blanket (which I appreciated) as well as a duvet and plenty of towels and basic supplies.
Overall the place is located in a nice quiet area. Has a great beach and dock. The kids had a great time playing in the water. Boat launch is not too far. Downsides were fruit flys, mouse traps, carpet was definitely not super clean and looking at the cost for next year to rebook was almost double. We still had a great time and those are just minor issues.
The cottage was perfect for our family of 3. The marina is convenient as we had our pontoon with us. Nice beach. Great sunsets. Everything in the cottage and property amenities were all very well kept and in great working order. Our 8 year old loved the playground and beach. Lots of room for kids to play and run. Mary and Tom were very responsive to our questions about where and when we could put our pontoon in the marina. Great place!

We did use the hangers in the closet for a few things. I was rather surprised and disappointed there was no wine glassware - even some shatterproof ones would have been nice.
