We decided to visit Zermatt on short notice and this room popped up on our options. Sooo glad it did! The view was wonderful and we were very happy with it. We were not there to ski, but it was fun to see all the skiiers in town as we wandered the shopping and sites. Such a quaint village!
There’s a couple of minor inconveniences of this property, but the excellent pricing more than makes up for the inconveniences. The main one just being to read your email 5 days before check in for the elevator code. Without it, it’s a lengthy walk up hill
The place was very clean and cozy. Make sure to bring all soap, shampoo and conditioner products as this place does not come with any. The views were amazing and a very nice balcony. The only issues was finding the location of the apartment. We were not able to figure out how to locate the apartment. The owner is German and translating the instructions was not clear.
We loved it here! Couldn’t ask for a better location. With the elevator it’s super easy to get to, yet way above the streets and very quiet with a lovely view from our private balcony of the town. My old bones wished the bed were higher off the floor, but this is minor. Also, breakfast was never mentioned in the ad, but they do call it a Bed and Breakfast somewhere which isn’t the case, so maybe change that? Directions to property were clear and owner / manager was helpful. Always a strong smell of weed I. The stairway, but thankfully room smelled fine. And the view!!!!
