The property was amazing and we had a great time enjoying all you had to offer in the area. The information provided was taken into account and the host was very friendly and responsive. The property was clean and overall left a lasting impression on me and rest of the guests that stayed. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice cozy spot to stay.

Our stay was amazing. The house was beautiful and so much room for everyone. The owner had so many extras it made you feel at home. The owner is amazing ant getting back to you with questions and making accommodations. We will be looking to book this same property when we are back next year.

Enzo was an excellent communicator and quintessential host from start to finish. He and his wife greeted us at the property and explained every aspect of the property inside and out. The home itself was impeccably clean, spacious and stocked with every thing you could possibly require and more. Outside, the property is well maintained and the location is close to grocery shopping and several small towns. The sandy-beach waterfront area was perfect for our grandkids to play and the quiet lake provided a relaxing peaceful environment as well as being an excellent source of fish for the fishermen in our family. Plenty of lawnchairs, kayaks and lifepreservers for all. In essence, it's a great location and property for a fantastic summer holiday! Enjoyed every minute.

House is great! Plenty of room. A lot of attention to details, extra dishes, bathrooms well stocked, laundry with all the cleaning supplies. The front steps need to a step stool to get up, not convenient for older people. Property would be a 2 for convenience factor. No direct lake access. The terrain would not be accessible for elderly or anyone with disabilities. The dock is sinking on one end. Kayaks were a selling factor for us but we had no idea we had a hike up and down a steep incline to get there.

We just returned from a family vacation at Big Timbers and all eleven members of my family had a great time! The house was immaculately clean, and was well stocked with toilet paper, tissues and a fabulous coffee machine. The beds were very comfortable and the bunk room worked out great for our single guys and one granddaughter. A special bonus were the cute toys that my 2 granddaughters played with daily.The access to the lake was very easy and there was a swim pad that everyone enjoyed. I appreciated that the lake was in the front of the house, not directly behind the house. I felt this was safer for my young granddaughters, they couldn't venture there very easily without an adult.Our family cooked at the house 3 nights and there was plenty of room for everyone to sit and eat, and 2 nights we had great takeout! The sunroom was a quiet little place to read and the living room fireplace is gorgeous. My family is already talking about booking Big Timbers for next summer's Family Vacation!

An Unforgettable Weekend: The Perfect Home for Creating Lasting Family MemoriesThis stay was deeply special for our family. It was my mom’s bucket list wish to get all of her children and grandchildren together under one roof, and this incredible property turned that dream into a reality far beyond our expectations. From the moment we walked through the door, the home felt both beautifully luxurious and warmly welcoming.The attention to detail throughout the property is extraordinary. The host truly thought of everything to make guests of all ages feel at home: a fully stocked coffee bar to start our mornings, a fantastic toy area that kept the grandkids happily entertained, abundant linens, s'mores for the evening, and plenty of beach towels ready for lake time. Outdoors was a total Michigan experience. We spent our days relaxing on the sandy beach, playing cornhole, floating on the lily pad, paddling in the kayaks, playing corn hole and grilling dinner together.What made the trip truly legendary, though, was the exceptional hospitality. Our host went above and beyond to help us experience a boat ride on the lake, creating a core memory for our family that we will talk about for years to come.We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to gather, laugh, and celebrate Mom's wish. We are already talking about making an annual tradition. Thank you for hosting us and helping our family create memories we will treasure forever!
