A beautifully appointed, clean and roomy apartment with its own garden entrance in the lower part of a house built against a hill, bordering woodland and river, on the edge of the (small) town. Very friendly owner, who lives upstairs and is building a sauna block with terrace in the garden! We came from Amsterdam for the nostalgic Christmas market and a concert in the main church of this lovely town with 143 half-timbered houses, so did not explore the immediate surroundings of the apt. Such a pity it rained a lot! The position is very quiet (bliss!). Lovely furniture, wonderful bathroom and kitchen, and cosily warm. Just a few suggestions: Bed in main bedroom could do with new mattress, is now über-soft. The beautiful kitchen could do with a microwave. Wifi is intermittent in the bedrooms, which is probably due to the house being on the end of a rather slow line. Owner installed a powerful booster, but unfortunately this has not helped enough. He is trying to solve the problem. Wifi in main room is fine though. In short: with a few minor additions this could easily be a 5 star plus apartment. It is extremely moderately priced for what you get, though! Would love to see it again in the summertime! Thank you, Uwe! Louise and Peter.

Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung

Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Wald mit wunderschönen Spazierwegen, und auch der Ruhrradweg ist per Rad in 6 Minuten zu erreichen. In die schöne Altstadt Hattingen braucht man länger. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, sehr gut ausgestattet und es fehlt an nichts. Uwe ist ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der uns gute Tipps gegeben hat. Die Wohnung liegt im Souterrain - das konnte man aus der Beschreibung nicht klar entnehmen. Zum Eingang führt eine Treppe ohne Geländer, die Fenster sind alle vergittert. Es ist etwas dunkel und fußkalt.

Schöne Unterkunft

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Küche ist sehr modern. Die Wohnung ist hell obwohl sie im Souterrain liegt. So ist sie aber auch an an heißen Tagen sehr angenehm. Die Vermieter sind sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist direkt am Wald und sehr ruhig. Die Unterkunft können wir mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen. angenehm kühl

Gemütliche Wohnung im Grünen
