This cozy, authentic Italian vacation home in Piedimonte Etneo, at the foot of Mount Etna, is very centrally located and allows you to make excursions to many different cultural and culinary towns in the area.

The nearest beach is about 8 kilometers away and from your house you can make great hikes and bike rides.

An ascent of Mount Etna is a must and those who have climbed it report that it is a unique experience.

You are also only 22 kilometers from Taormina, one of the most charming and famous cities in Sicily. This was visited by Goethe in the 18th century and described in his Italian Journey.
Here you can visit the ancient Greek theater, many old churches, lively bars, fine restaurants and antique stores.

In addition to Etna and Taormina, nearby attractions include the Alcantara Gorges, Castelmola a Acireale, the Ciclopi Coast and Catania with its magnificent Baroque.

In 48 minutes by car you can reach the village of Castiglione di Sicilia, situated on a hill on the north side of Etna.
