Residence Schuler Apartment "The Penthouse" with sea and Mount Etna view

This apartment for 4 persons has a size of 96 square meters (1.033 sq. ft.) and a terrace of 36 square meters (388 sq. ft.). It consists of: 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and a terrace over viewing the sea and Mt. Etna. It is provided with washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven and microwave oven, satellite TV, safe, telephone, Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, ironing equipment, hairdryer, coffee maker and toaster. Table, chairs and sunbeds are on the terrace.
Baby coat and baby chair are available on request.
The Penthouse and the other 5 apartments of the Residence are located on a small hill in a residential area in Taormina, only 4 minutes walking distance from central Corso Umberto (pedestrian area of Taormina), and 3 minutes only from the supermarket and the nearest restaurants.
Taxi service also available on request from or to Catania airport with a Minivan for maximum 5 persons 120.00 Euro.
Parking Information:
Inside of the Residence we have a small parking area for 2 cars and on request a space can be reserved at the price of 10 Euro a day, otherwise is possible to park in the 24/7 municipal multi-storey car park of Porta Catania which is located just before the entrance of Taormina and at a 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment. Due the narrow roads of Taormina and our own small parking area, for clients arriving with big cars we suggest this last solution.
I live in one apartment of the Residence, I will be here on your arrival and during your stay I will be always available for information’s and any kind of assistance

Our five day stay at the Residence Schuler was the highlight of our two weeks in Italy and Sicily. It was super clean, well equipped and perfect for two "couples" with two separate bathrooms. Claudio, our host, was very helpful with arranging transportation for us to and from Cantania airport. The apartment has a panoramic million dollar view of Mt. Etna and the sea. It is very convenient to the market as well as downtown Taormina and restaurants. But we enjoyed the apartment so much it was tempting to just relax on the terrace and enjoy the view. We will definitely be back. Thank you, Claudio.

The Penthouse at Residence Schuler is truly a gem and I highly recommend staying there if you are traveling to Taormina. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. The apartment is beautifully furnished and clean, and it’s in a great location. Shops, restaurants, and grocery store all within a very short walk. And Claudio, the host, is always available if you need him. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

5 Day Visit to Taormina

The flat was lovely, well stocked with all necessities and perfect for two couples. The terrace however made our holiday very special. Spacious terrace with amazing views of both the sea and Mount Etna. We had sunny skies for most of our stay and we could not get enough of Both the sea and Etna….the unusual smoke rings were evident several times. The city sites were also very close by. We definitely recommend this property!

This apartment is in a great location for those who want a fabulous view, closeness to the main part of town and don’t want a hotel but a home. We had a rental car and for a small extra fee they provided parking. This is important since parking In Taormina is difficult.

Beautiful apartment in Taormina

We stayed in "The Penthouse" at Residence Schuler for three nights. It was a great place to stay as it was very clean, had amazing views on the terrace and was only a 5 minute walk from Porta Catania - one of the main entrances to the main street Corso Umberto. Claudio is very attentive and ready to help as he lives in the building. We parked in the parking garage Parcheggio Porta Catania and walked up the hill to the apartment - a bit of a climb with luggage. This is definitely a great place to stay when you visit Taormina.

Wonderful family trip

The VIEW, the patios, the location is all AMAZING Our family stayed in two apartments, apartment D and the penthouse. We all LOVED our stay at the Schuler Apartments. The penthouse had a larger patio and more modern updates. Apartment D was very nice too. Both had great air conditioning, comfortable beds and everything you needed for a great stay. It was easy to get to town in 5 min walk, close to grocery store, cafes, restaurants and taxis. Claudio was a kind, responsive and helpful host. He helped us with car transfers too from Catania airport. I would recommend these apartments to anyone.

Absolutely stunning setting; better than photos. We stayed in the Penthouse apt. which has an unforgettable view and a very large terrace. Highly recommend you plan your holiday well in advance and book the penthouse! The apt was spotlessly clean with everything you need. Claudio is an exceptional host--outstanding communication; very helpful and extremely responsive to any and all questions.It was very quiet at all times which made for an enjoyable stay. Note: the apt isn't quite easy to find or drive to but certainly manageable if you are an experienced driver in Europe like I am. Taormina is up high on hillside. Claudio provided perfect written, step by step instructions so take my advice and follow them. If you do, you will have no trouble finding the apt. If driving be sure and reserve one of 2 spots available with Claudio for a nominal fee; otherwise you will park locally. Good grocery store less than 10 minute walk away. HIGHLY recommend dinner at Rosamarino restaurant. Charming and gracious owner Rita will greet you warmly and you will have the most perfect evening in Sicily.
