We had a great stay at Villa Priscilla. The property is close to Isola Bella and the cable car that takes you up to Taormina. The villa was clean and had all of the amenities that we wanted. The owner even left a bag of espresso that we used every day. When there were a few minor issues, the responded immediately. I would definitely stay again at this villa.
A beautiful location and well kept property with lovely terraces snd a rooftop terrace as well (cones with working hot tub - whoohoo!). Stunning beach viewsKitchen was well stocked and Roberto was very responsive. Very close to the funiculwr and beach is directly across the street. We lived it here. Thenk you Roberto!
Beautiful apartment! Just be aware, as most accommodations in Taormina, there are MANY steps to this home, but well worth it. Parking is available steps away, as well as the cable car to the old town. One suggestion- instructions as to where to turn the outside lights on would be helpful.IWe would highly recommend House Priscilla, and hope to stay there again when we visit Taormina next year.
Excellent location. Provided everything we needed (except a clothes dryer)! The stairs were tough, especially for bringing up our big suitcases when we arrived. But we were prepared for that!
Steps from the cable car and restaurants, we had an ocean view and a jacuzzi! It was paradise for two nights. There were almost too many balconies to count and each was lovely.
3 full bedrooms and bathrooms. Location is perfect and close to everything. Roberto was a wonderful host and very responsive. Hot tub needs a little work and there are 72 steps to the front door. Overall great place to stay
Property has amazing views and a short walk from the beach. Cable car next door to go in to Taormina which is very convenient, if expensive. Roberto could not be more helpful.
Tremendously convenient to the Parking lot, gondola, beach, Isola Bella, and small shops. Property is up multiple flights of stairs, so most suitable for guests who are traveling light. It’s an older apartment complex, but the interior has been updated. This clearly required tradeoffs, with a quirky result that gives it an oddball charm.
My family (all adults) stayed here in July. The property was a bit dated, but you can’t beat the central location and the gorgeous view. The air conditioner in July was not always working well, but the property manager did let the owner know, and it was manageable. Taormina is expensive but this place was reasonable.
Chiara, the hostess was absolutely the best. She is solely responsible for our stay being perfect.
The stairs really are the challenge here, but thanks to Chiara we made it to the front door with our luggage. Totally worth it. The property itself could use some upkeep but overall the location and view 100% worth it. I would definitely stay again. Chiara also planned private excursions for us that were priceless. Thank you to all involved.
The views from this apartment are unparalleled. The location is ideal as you are away from the crowds of Taormina, but have easy access to it. It is an easy walk to beach and Isola Bella. The pay parking a bit of a struggle when in season, but I will stay here again not just because of the views and the location, but also because of our hosts Roberto and Chiara. They are so responsive and we found their advice and recommendations for all things Sicily to be invaluable. They treated us like family. Of all the places we have travelled, they are the bestest of the best.
We had a lovely stay here with friends. Amazing location minutes from the beach and the cable car up to Taormina. Would definitely recommend. Communication was amazing and from our host and a special mention to Chiara who was available via WhatsApp on the run up to our check in date and there in person on check in. She was a wealth of knowledge and happy to help book beach clubs, excursions etc. We didn’t manage to find the wardrobes in our room until nearly the last day so a word of advice check behind the curtains! Sun terrace is an amazing space, long after the sun has gone from the beach get up there and get your tan on!! Thanks again Roberto and Chiara!
Time in Taormina was an opportunity for us to meet up with our grown up daughters and we came together from Australia and the UK. Had searched for accommodation for ages but fell in love with this place on first viewing….the really positive reviews helped as well. Fully recommend, location superb, facilities excellent. The top terrace was the perfect place to unwind each day. Was worried about the steps before we got there,(73 up to the front door from the front gate). But we had no problems. Just be aware if you have accessibility issues.
Readily available gel on hand if you need - only a text away. Davide was great.
Strong recommend.

Perfectly located but run down
Accomodation is perfectly located, the communication with Chiara was good and she was very helpful but the house is very old and run down. The shower on the ground floor was not really working, we got a new shower head after a few days. The toilet flush also broke. There were problems with the electricity, the fuses shut down when we used the stove or other devices. The washing machine did not work. The grill was also not available.
Well where shall I start.
Fantastic communication from start to finish. Helped us in planning how to get from the airport to resort as well as a couple of trips. We messaged upon our arrival at the bus terminal in Taormina and after a short taxi journey direct to the accommodation we were met by Matteo (I think) who gave us a tour of the accommodation and made sure we were happy.
Fantastic location opposite the beach and 2 mins from the gondola which takes you up into the main centre of Taormina.
The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with tea towels, tea, coffee, olive oil and balsamic etc.
Fantastic roof terrace with sun beds and hot tub which was hot enough to go in the day of our arrival. Only thing I would state is that the tub wasn’t perfectly clean and needed a wipe round. Didn’t bother us and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. There was even a shower on the terrace.
Both bedrooms got the morning sun and both had a joint balcony. There was another balcony on the kitchen level and we had some lovely evening snacks and drinks on . Would definitely recommend and would have no hesitation in returning
The location of the property was perfect! Close to train station, bus route, funicular, Taormina! We had some difficulty connecting with our contact person who manages the property; had to call the owner. He responded quickly. The parking situation is not good. The property owner wrote to us and said there was parking provided; provided in a paying garage with rate of 15E per day. That no longer is the way the parking garage works. One must pay each time one goes in and out. Very difficult and we had to find other arrangements. If someone does not speak Italian; almost impossible to sort out. The stairs to the property are very steep and many; not easy with luggage. The hot tub was not at normal hot tub temps; after calling property manger, it got better. The staircase going up to it are very dangerous. The kitchen is awkwardly laid out; all appliances and storage are under the island. We received mid stay house keeping/ change of linens and towels which was nice. The apartment is on a very busy street so it is a bit noisy. We enjoyed our stay but these few things made it less than ideal!

Mainers (USA) in Taormina 2022
Views from property are very, very nice. The views from the roof top terrace and outdoor space were definitely the best. Access to the roof top is somewhat difficult to negotiate.
In our opinion, the listing description is not accurate. It states that parking is onsite and convenient, which implies onsite and part of the rental. A more accurate description may be something like “nearby public parking for hourly fee is available”. The nearby public parking is about 50 spaces that are on high demand, so if you find one, great, but if not or if you leave for the day and come back, no guarantee of getting a space. I do not consider that to be parking onsite or convenient.
The apartment was advertised as a three bathroom unit; however, the first floor bathroom was 100% non-functional. The showers in the two upstairs bathrooms only partially functioned.
All in all, we loved Taormina. It was a great place to visit for a few days. The upper part of town is where most of the shopping and activity is located. I think if we were ever to return, we would look for a rental up there.
