Created through the owners personal journeys with breast cancer and life’s unexpected challenges, this tiny loft-style Bunkie was designed as a place to breathe deeply, reconnect with what matters most, and embrace the beauty of the present moment.

Nestled in the woods of Nova Scotia, The Journey is perfect for couples, families, friends, and nature lovers looking for comfort, connection, and a peaceful escape surrounded by trees and fresh air.

The Bunkie comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests with a queen loft bed and a queen sofa bed on the main floor. Large windows bring in natural light and forest views, while the thoughtfully designed layout creates a cozy space to relax, reflect, and unwind after a day outdoors.

Enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck, evenings around the fire pit under the stars, or quiet walks along nearby forest trails leading toward the Herbert River. The Journey blends rustic charm with simple comforts for a meaningful unplugged getaway.

The Bunkie includes free Wi Fi, a kitchenette with coffee essentials, toaster, air fryer, and a 5 gallon drinking water station with pump for added convenience, plus a private barbecue on the deck with complimentary propane included. A complimentary starter bundle of firewood is also provided for cozy nights around the fire.

Bunkie Land is a growing tiny cabin glamping community located in the peaceful woods of South Rawdon, Nova Scotia. Each Bunkie has its own personality and story while remaining connected through shared pathways, outdoor gathering spaces, and a spirit of community. The Bunkie's are spaced apart with trees and nature in between for added privacy while still allowing guests to enjoy the shared experience of the property.

Guest Access:
Guests have private access to The Journey Bunkie, loft space, main floor living area, deck, fire pit, private barbecue, and surrounding outdoor space.

You’ll also enjoy shared access to:

• Outdoor games and recreation spaces located across from the parking area
• Forest pathways throughout the property
• A cleared walking path leading toward the Herbert River

Please note that the washrooms and hot tub are shared with other guests staying on the property as part of the Bunkie Land glamping experience.

To help maintain a clean and relaxing environment, the hot tub is professionally cleaned and serviced daily between approximately 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. During this time, the hot tub may be temporarily unavailable.

Parking is available on-site, followed by a short scenic walk through the trees to your Bunkie.
