Oxford Oaks - A Cozy Heights Guesthouse
Cozy Guesthouse/ADU Unit is located in the amazing Heights neighborhood with some of the best dining options Houston has to offer! Easy access to many Houston attractions including Downtown, Museum Dist, Medical Center, Washington corridor, and including NRG Sports Stadium ( All within 10 / 15 mins drive. Or short Uber ride >$10. Our 2 bedrooms guesthouse includes all the amenities to make you feel at home. It includes blazing fiber wifi to work away from home, full kitchen, queen size beds, w/d & private “Tex-Sun”patio. 1 off st parking.
The space
Your guesthouse includes 2 bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds , closet spaces , sleeper sofa in living room, a full-size refrigerator, an electric oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, bistro table and bar seating with stools, and 50" smart tv with access to Netflix, Amazon, Apple , DirecTV ( cable ). Many other streaming services can be accessed with established account. Apt also include a full size washer dryer. There is 1 off street parking space reserved for the guesthouse and plenty of free street parking is also available. Past guests have been both Families & Work travelers requiring high speed wifi & central location.

Why they chose this property
We have lived in the Heights most of our adult life! ( not native ! ) .. when we moved here we were the youngest couple on the block! As life progressed ( Marissa was born here ) thru 80’s & beyond now we are likely to be oldest on the block!
What makes this property unique
… nothing notable about the building! It is a 2 story comfortable building which has had many lives ( garage , office & apt & now most of the above! ) A 2 story addition was added despite financial constraints. We bought the property in 1980 because of the 100 plus year old oak trees & friendly neighbors ( Sarah & Salisbury Sisters ) who eventually became the care takes of the 100 year old oaks! )
