Vacation home "Gare de Mareuil" in southwest France

We rent out a beautiful holiday home in southwestern France for your holiday.
Our apartment is located in southwestern France, more specifically on the beautiful Dordogne River.
The village is called Mareuil and is a lovely little spot in idyllic France. The apartment is nestled in the woods and is perfect for hiking or bike tours.

The Dordogne is known for its many attractions, especially

- castles
- fortresses
- rivers, lakes,
- flea markets
- country festivals

But also for its unique cuisine and local wines in cosy restaurants.

The centre of Mareuil is 4 km away. Here you’ll find all the necessary shops, such as a pharmacy, medical centre, pubs, and restaurants.
The local supermarket, which also has a petrol station and laundry machines, is 5 km away.

The holiday home consists of a ground floor of approx. 30 square metres (living room, kitchen, and bathroom) and an attic of approx. 30 square metres (bedroom, bathroom with shower and sink).
Ideal for two adults with up to two children.
There is ample space for a baby cot you bring with you.

The 10,000-square-meter property includes the owner’s house and the detached holiday home with a separate entrance, parking space, and its own private garden.


The final cleaning fee is €80, but this is waived if you take care of it yourself.
Bed linens and towels can be provided for an additional fee of €5 per person.

One dog is allowed upon request. Additional fees may apply.

Smoking is not permitted inside the house.

There is a TV with a German TV connection.

The host is a German expat and his wife is Dutch, so German, English, Dutch, and French are all spoken here.

The holiday home has been used by the host’s family and friends since then and will be rented out for the first time in 2023.
We would appreciate any feedback or suggestions for improvement—both after and even during your holiday—so that we can make your stay as pleasant as possible.

If anything is missing from the holiday home, the host, who lives nearby, can quickly take care of it.

Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Das Häuschen liegt sehr pitoresc am Waldrand und hat einen traumhaften Garten. Erholung pur! In der Gegend gibt es schöne Orte zu entdecken. Unsere ganze Familie hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt.
