I didn’t realize I would be in the house with others. I’m so used to booking a private unit, I must of misread. I have to say, I only saw the owner twice. When I got to the property and one day outside. She was very nice and accommodating. Offered us the use of bikes to go down to the beach and other sites to visit. The room was clean with the bathroom right outside the bedroom door. All and all it worked out and we enjoyed our visit to Burlington.

The room was quiant, cozy and clean. Also, the screen windows allowed a cool, shore side breeze making topping off the calming nature noises. The bathroom and shower additionally was clean and plenty of space. In terms of area, it was nicely located near a gorgeous park trail and beach within walking distance, not to mention only being mere blocks away from a bus stop getting you into town in decent time. It's a good choice whether you have a car/rental, or enjoy getting around on your feet. Extremely cyclist friendly! One more thing I should add is it should be made more clear that it's a room being rented, in the host's house, who actively lives there (In the Vrbo description, it advertised you would have the whole place to yourself) but they were pleasant, quiet, and did their own thing. I felt safe in the area, and in the house and did not take much away from my stay. If you enjoy a comforting stay in calm breezy neighborhood surrounded by nature anywhere you set your eyes, I would highly recommend this place to you.

I feel the listing had changed from when I I booked. I do know the pictures changed. The host did allowus to use the house but there was someone living in the basement that was only mentioned in passing. This was not what we thought we booked. The bedroom and bathroom were clean. We were under the impression from policy listed that VRBO rents the entire house. The new listing states differently.
