Come winter, the fresh powder of Schweitzer Mountain will be calling your name for a day of skiing and snowboarding.

When you aren't out and about, home base has plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors as well, with the deck overlooking the lake, a gas grill for summer cookouts in the sunshine, outdoor living to gather around and stargaze or play corn hole and horseshoes, and a cozy balcony off of the upper level awaits for morning coffee or intimate cocktails with your favorite person.

Modern cabin with amazing view of Bottle Bay

The cabin is great and fully stocked. It is in a secluded area and very peaceful. We were disappointed that photos of the outside fire pit were misleading. Although there were no fire restrictions it was chained shut.

Great place and we really liked it. Our only complaint is that the listing says the cabin is 12 miles from Schweitzer ski resort. That must be as a crow flies. It’s actually 25 miles and a 50 minute drive to Schweitzer.

Beautiful lake views

The home was beautiful, clean and well stocked with the essentials. Stunning lake views. About a 20 minute drive to Sandpoint. We spent a great week here. We did wish there would have been clear written information and instructions about the surrounding area and how do manage certain aspects of the stay. For example, there was no instruction on how to deal with trash since the home was semi remote. Contacting the host to find out where to dump trash was frustrating because the property is managed by a third party management company and they never got back to us on that issue. It was a small issue for us but just be aware it may be difficult to get ahold of someone if the issue is more emergent.

Cozy with a beautiful view

We loved our stay at Bob and Kim’s! It was stocked with everything we could possibly need for our stay and felt just like home. It was quiet and so a really restful weekend. This was the perfect spot for us to enjoy relaxing with a beautiful view as well as going out and exploring Sandpoint! We will for sure be back!

Amazing 3 level cabin with every amenity you could need surrounded by absolute stunning scenery and wildlife. Never saw a neighbor, yet never felt more at home. Fully furnished and an amazing kitchen. We brought way more than we needed. Looking forward to coming back.
