Lovely home - Great for a family or friends getaway

We loved the kitchen which was well equipped and had lots of seating. The hot tub was awesome, with a spectacular view through the trees from the hot tub and deck. Already thinking about another stay next year.

Art Rocks house truly rocks!

Great ski house vibe with all the amenities (hot tub, big screen tv, fireplace, steam shower) you could want and cool, updated decor. Great location, close to downtown Stowe for dining/shopping, easy access, with nice views. Loved it!

The house itself was good - quirky and fun with a great backyard and view. The management company was frustrating to work with but the local team dispatched to help with the hot tub was great. I love vrbo but don’t think I’ll stay at a Vacasa run property again.

Fabulous House in a Perfect Setting

I found Art Rocks to be a perfect place to vacation. My recent stay was in the summer, and it was a perfect setting: private with a large yard, gardens, great views and yet easy to get to and minutes from town, and a close drive to everything else including the mountain. The home is appointed with really cool mid-century modern furnishings (and there IS great art on the walls!), and is very comfortable. The layout has two common spaces (each with a TV) and so it was easy to give the kids their own place to hangout. Great place for groups! The hot tub has a great view, and was great to come back to each afternoon/evening. Overall it was a great experience staying here and I am looking forward to coming back in the winter!

Art Rocks

The rental home is unique and affordable. The location was perfect and it served its purpose for a weekend getaway for 3 couples. The pictures are accurate in the decor being retro and somewhat outdated. Some kitchen items were old and rusted but we made due with the few things we needed. Labels for garbage, recycling, and compost bins would have been helpful. While it was an inconvenience to lose hot water, guest services did come out and address it. Overall a great weekend.

What a gem!

Really fun place! It is kind of hard to tell from the photos how great this place is. First, the location is perfect. Close to ‘the action’ (Main St, etc) in Stowe, but away from the hullabaloo. The house itself is unique, as it actually has two sections. One near the kitchen & fireplace, w/ bedrooms too. And the other through a short hallway. Also with bedrooms. Both sections have their own TV’s & entertainment areas & bathrooms. This means that two families can share, but also have privacy. Or the kids can be in one area & adults it the other. Really useful! The decor is beautiful & artistic…. Retro, but in a good way. We loved the large deck, gardens & yard. Nice hot tub… probably perfect in ski season. We will return! We want to

Great Ski Weekend

Came here for a ski trip at Stowe with a bunch of friends. It was an excellent location and the house is as listed, everything we needed was between Stowe and the place and within 15 minutes. Kitchen stuff was great to be able to cook all our meals and living/dining room was a great place for all of us to hang out. The driveway and steps up to the house were icy so would recommend putting salt or sand down. There were only a couple dishwasher and laundry pods provided which isn't really sufficient for the 4 day trip. Also the trash was not emptied before we checked in, the can in the house and bins outside the house were all full. And lastly, communication was slow as it seems it is going through VRBO to Vacasa. Overall, would recommend this place with the minor improvements!

Quirky, but great location.

We stayed here for 5 nights. The location is great for sure - just minutes away from everything in Stowe. The neighbourhood is quiet and lovely. The property itself is quirky with lots of interesting art and cool furniture. We did feel that it was lacking the attention to detail you would expect from a rental property. The bedding was lacking - the comforter on one bed had a stain and a weird long body pillow that we really did not want to touch. In the other bedroom, the curtains do not cover the entire window which is very unusual. The sheets and towels could definitely use an upgrade. The kitchen had a lot of supplies, but it was scattered around and not terribly organized. The place had a lot of personal touches that made it feel like we were staying at a family friend's place. It was okay in terms of cleanliness, but definitely not pristine. We felt the images on the listing had definitely been filtered and not exactly a reflection of what the property looks like. Overall, the location was great and the house was more than spacious for two couples. It served us well for the weekend adventure, but next time we would likely book somewhere else.
