This stylish, third-floor condo is conveniently located only steps from the community hot tub and a short walk from Gondola Square and Steamboat Ski Resort, the ideal setup for a fantastic ski weekend with friends and family!

Boasting a gorgeous brick gas-fireplace, exposed wood joists supporting the wood-paneled ceiling, and lots of natural light and comfortable furniture, this mountain chalet is perfect for your next mountain vacation. Spread out on a comfy sofa to play with the kids, enjoy a good novel, or watch a good movie on the large TV. You'll love the wood accents, the natural light, and the attractive decor throughout the home, especially when you entertain your dinner guests with delicious food prepared in the well-equipped full kitchen. Serve up to six guests at the dining table or take your meals out to the private balcony to enjoy an alfresco meal.

The main bedroom features a TV and an attached bathroom. The second bedroom boasts a TV, and an additional full bathroom.

A spectacular year-round resort, The Lodge at Steamboat not only boasts an exceptional location one block from the lifts, but it also offers its guests premium amenities that include an on-site front desk and clubhouse, four outdoor hot tubs, an indoor hot tub, free parking, free WiFi, and coin-operated laundry machines. (There is not an in-unit washer/dryer.) There is a free ski season shuttle service that will whisk you away to the mountain or around beautiful Steamboat Springs. Winter in Steamboat Springs is a magical experience the whole family will love! Be sure to check out all the fantastic winter slopes of Steamboat Ski Resort such as Kuus' Cruise and Three O'Clock for the group experts, Rainbow and Moonlight for the advanced skiers, and Why Not and Spur Run for the beginners. Afterward, grab an après-ski meal at one of the amazing mountaintop restaurants. The kids will love a trip to Howelsen Ice Arena, just three and a half miles north, where you can enjoy a pleasant open-skate on the ice and even goof off in inflated bumper cars.

You'll find plenty of hot weather activities all over the place! Take the kids out to explore the majestic outdoor beauty of Steamboat Springs with hikes on Thunderhead Hiking Trail. The paved Yampa River Core Trail winds through town and even passes by the botanic gardens, so you can take the little ones out for a good walk while still being close to home! You'll also be close to the fantastic greens of Rollingstone Ranch Golf Course, plus lots of other summertime activities like alpine slides, mountain biking, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding!

Summer in the mountains

So much fun being in Steamboat during the summer. Lots to do for all ages and tons of places to eat! Highly recommend this lodge. It’s close to the village and very accessible to roads for getting out and about. No A/C but no surprise there. Just keep the fans on and windows open! It gets cool in the evenings.

Great location but...

Pros - Location of property is great. It's within walking distance of the base of the mountain if you choose to walk, however we had 2 young kids so catching the shuttle was a much better option for us. We never had to wait more than 5-10 min for the shuttle. The condo had plenty of space for our family of 4. Cons - Queen sized bed in master is terrible. Desperately needs to be replaced. The other con we had is that the kitchen is very poorly supplied. Minimal pots and pans. Tupperware for storage was almost non-existent. We understand that things like salt/pepper, olive oil, pam, aluminum foil are not guaranteed to be part of the arrangement but we often find that some or all of these things have been left behind by previous travelers. Salt and pepper were the only accoutrements found in the kitchen. Overall, we would stay Steamboat Lodge again due to the location but we would likely try to find a different unit in the complex.

That said, while we acknowledge that beds will not suit everyone's specific preferences, we regret that ours was not comfortable for you and we have shared this with the local manager. Additionally, while the kitchen is stocked with the cookware and utensils needed to prepare a meal, pantry items like oils and spices are not stored in our home for sanitary reasons. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again.
