I loved my clean cozy cabin on the banks of a running creek! The staff was wonderful! The grounds were meticulous and the location was perfect situated between Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. It was warm during my stay but the air conditioning worked great!

The property was very nice and the host was excellent. The location of the property was fantastic to all the sites we planned to see. We visited The Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, The Cave of the Winds and rode the cog rail up Pikes Peak. There are some aspects of the cabin that were interesting. Take your pillow as the ones in the cabin are covered in crunchy plastic under the pillowcase so very noisy to sleep on. Also the air conditioner sounded like a small engine plane every time it started up so that was very disruptive while sleeping at night. We wished we would have brought our coffee press pot as the only coffee maker is a small hotel pot which you are not able to use your own coffee. We have not slept in a full-sized bed in years so that was cozy but workable.We very much enjoyed the area and the property is quite safe. the running river brought a deer and her 2 babies by our front door the last morning we were there so that was quite a treat.
