Birds nest was perfect for our stay visiting family in the area. Very clean comfortable cabin in a heavily wooded lot. Very comfortable house with a nice well supplied kitchen. Everything we needed.
This is a great home! However, it seemed like this place came under the management of 3 different organizations from the time we rented till the time we arrived... it got confusing. ALSO, we did arrive late and no one informed us about a security gate that locked the whole neighborhood from access -- we had to make a few calls to figure that out. On the whole, we would return again. Just remember that the basement room has a few spiders hanging out there.
We absolutely loved staying at the Bird’s Nest in Saluda, NC! We all proclaimed how much we appreciated the comfortable recliners, soft mattresses, wonderful kitchen appliances, soothing hot tub, and amazing sunset views! We also loved the care to supply all possible useful cooking utensils as well as our favorite Mrs. Meyers soap products. Every detail of this rental home seemed curated for comfort!

Beautiful Mountain Retreat
A really lovely, peaceful, and spacious home close to Saluda's shops and restaurants. The provided pack-n-play and high chair was extremely helpful for traveling with a toddler. The home feels secluded, yet is close to Asheville, Hendersonville, and nearby hikes.

Fantastic getaway.
The home was beautiful and clean and so comfortable. The nearby towns of Saluda and Hendersonville were fun to visit and there were so many exciting experiences nearby for swimming and tube rides and hiking. We had a few teenagers with us and they so enjoyed the house, the hot tub and all of the nearby adventures!

Immaculate and comfortable!
Loved it! I've stayed at a variety of places up there, and the Bird's Nest was immaculate and very comfortable. I thought it was peaceful and I loved the fire pit area and the front porch! Very private feeling. It really hit all the marks. Can't beat the distance from the restaurants either. Parking was really easy- I get nervous going to these mountain houses not knowing what the incline or the decline on the driveway is going to be like, but this one was easy. The mattress and the bedding were immaculate- I've stayed in places where everything is really old or used up and not comfortable at all. Their stuff was amazing. I would highly recommend the Bird's Nest! It really was a great spot. - Juliet
Our family stayed at the Birdsnest during a baseball tournament at Jackson Park in Hendersonville, which was an approximately 15 minutes away. Restaurant and grocery stores were in the same area as the baseball field which made it easy to pick things up to take back to the cabin to cook. The grill was clean, there were plenty of pots and pans to cook meals. The bedrooms were adequate for our family. The basement area gave our grandchildren a place to play and be loud, as children should be. There was plenty of HOT water for five adults and three kids, emphasis HOT water. The house was clean and welcoming. The hot tub was inviting and clean. The front porch was the BEST, after a long day at the baseball field it was nice to sit and relax under the fans. Please remember when you stay at the Birdsnest, there are bears in the area, though we did not see any bears, we did see what a bear would do to a bear proof trash can. Our family would highly recommend the Birdsnest to anyone.
