Welcome to the Meeresrauschen holiday home—located on the Baltic Sea on the beautiful island of Rügen. Experience Rügen’s natural wonders, enjoy the invigorating sea air, and savour the peace and vastness of our unique landscape. Make yourself at home in our family-run holiday apartments in Dranske Hof and relax during your unforgettable holiday on the northwest coast—right at the “very top of Rügen”!

Our holiday apartments are located on Wittow, the northernmost tip of Rügen, far away from mass tourism, hustle, and bustle.

During the off-season, two people can book the apartment at a base rate. We accommodate a third or fourth guest as an extra bed at the base rate, so the rental price varies depending on the number of guests.

The Donnerkeil apartment is located in a bungalow-style house that allows you to bring your “four-legged friends.”

Next to the Donnerkeil apartment is the Seeglas apartment, which also allows pets. Since each has a separate living area, the apartments are ideal for guests looking for accommodation for themselves and their family or friends, but who also value their own private space.

We’ve set up a webcam for you and posted it on our website, giving you a view of our neighbouring town and the island of Hiddensee.

Klein und gemütlich

Die Unterkunft ist für vier Personen sehr klein, Schlaf- und Kinderzimmer sind Puppenstuben, das Sofa viel zu klein, um es sich zu viert gemütlich zu machen. Die Ausstattung lässt auch zu wünschen übrig: keine Mikrowelle, kein Geschirrspüler, auch mit dem vorhandenen Geschirr, Besteck und Gläser wurde gespart. Bei schönem Wetter kann man die Terrasse nutzen, aber auch nur Sitzen, Sonnenliegen und Sonnenschirm gibt es nicht. Zum Strand, der sehr steinig ist, muss man ca. 10 Minuten laufen oder mit dem Auto etwas weiter weg fahren. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen, daher wirklich sehr ruhig, das Grundstück ist gepflegt und groß. Mitnahme von unserem Hund war kein Problem. Leider ist die Terrasse nicht abgeschlossen umzäunt und auf dem Gelände darf der Hund nicht unangeleint laufen- nicht optimal, aber ging so. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, aber wir belassen es bei diesen einen Besuch!

Erholung pur!

Für uns ist diese ruhige Lage genau das Richtige, perfekt zum Ausspannen. Abends auf der Terasse zu sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten ... was will man mehr. Großzügige Naturstrände sind fußläufig zu erreichen, der sehr schöne Strand Schaabe knapp 10 km entfernt, an dem man entweder wunderschön entlang laufen kann oder auch im Strandkorb sitzen kann. Für alle ist etwas dabei, ohne den ganzen Trubel in Binz oder Sellin.

Wunderschönes Rügen

Sehr entspannt, sehr sauber, sehr schöne Lage, nette Vermieter. Leider mussten wir unseren Urlaub wegen Krankheit einer Angehörigen abbrechen und hatten keine Reiserücktrittsversicherung abgeschlossen. Das zu tun, kann ich nur empfehlen!

Ein Ort zum Erholen

Wir haben die Zeit in der Unterkunft von Familie Wapenhans sehr genossen. Nach unseren täglichen Kiteausflügen, konnten wir dort wieder die Energie tanken, die wir für den nächsten Ausflug brauchten. Die Unterkunft ist super ausgestattet und man kann die Tage gemütlich auf der Terrasse ausklingen lassen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank.

Die Ferienwohnung entsprach unseren Erwartungen, da wir sie aus dem letzten Jahr kannten. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist direkt, unkompliziert und vertrauensvoll. Das sieht ganz nach Weiterempfehlung und Wiederholung aus. :-)

ein erholsamer Urlaub

Der Urlaub bei Fam. Wappenhans ist jedesmal eine Reise wert und das gilt für den gesamten Aufenthalt dort, Entspannung pur. Wir sind gern dort und freuen uns schon wieder auf ein nächstes Mal. In der Bewertung auf der Skala von 1bis 10 = 10. Es ist sauber, alles ist vorhander was gebraucht wird und die Gastgeberfamilie ist freundlich, gibt gute Tips und hat immer ein offenes Ohr.
