Very nice location
Had a very nice stay at Romerhof. Very nice location and accommodation very spacious and well appointed. Some chaos on arrival regarding towels and crockery and cutlery but these got sorted out quickly by Ingrid. Markus makes an excellent variety of wines. We had his Riesling and bought several more bottles. Farm yard a bit noisy from very early one morning when harvest in progress but it is a winery.

We had a great stay at the Romerberg Vineyard. The area is beautiful and the local people were very friendly. For walking and cycling the area is fantastic. There are lots of restaurants and bars in the surrounding villages, Nehren village is very peaceful with a small eatery that opens weekends. The apartments are a good size with balcony views of the vineyard and the Mosel valley. A small kitchen and local shops means you can eat in, which keeps the cost down. The vineyard and surrounding forests are full of wildlife and great to explore. Ingrid and Markus own the vineyard, they live next door and were very friendly and helpful. My wife assures me their wine is very nice and I enjoyed the local grape juices. Highly recommended, the Mosel valley is a treasure.
