We offer convenient door codes for self-check-in. Portoro Homes uses convenient keyless entry for self check-in, details provided 2 weeks (or less) prior to arrival by email and text message.



• Early check-ins or late check-outs: If the property happens to be ready earlier than the standard 4 pm check-in time on the day of your arrival, in most cases an early arrival option may be available when confirmed with the main office. Late check-outs must be confirmed with main office staff prior to the date of departure.

A vehicle is still recommended for grocery runs, beach hopping, and day trips to Destin, Sandestin, or Panama City Beach.



Traveling to/around the area - Explore by foot, by bike, or by car:

• A car is recommended for most errands and exploring beyond the immediate 30A corridor, as rideshares and taxis can be limited and wait times can vary.

• Biking is one of the best ways to experience 30A—use the Timpoochee Trail for scenic rides and easy access to nearby communities.

• Walking works well for short trips and beach access days, but plan to drive for larger grocery runs and farther excursions.

• Bike rentals are widely available along 30A if you want extra bikes for your group—helmets are recommended, and the paths can get busy during peak season.

• Early check-ins or late check-outs: Standard check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and standard check-out time is 10:00 a.m.. If the home is ready earlier on the day of arrival, an early check-in may be available with approval from our main office.
